My husband asked for a balcony from when we first looked at them when we got there they gave us a room that faced a wall. It was awful.

Not happy

Our toilet would drain slow. We notified the desk the first night. And they responded and said we are fully booked we can move you. And maintenance isn't on at this time. So they gave us a plunger thinking it'll take care of this. Well noone came or reached out the next day. We continuously had to plunge for the toilet to flush.

I wish I actually got something useful for the 30.00 resort fee

Restaurant pricing high, went to grocery store, liked that I had a kitchenette to store and heat my meals. Liked that we could ask for shower 🚿 instead of bath tub.

Maid service was later in the day, she had a lot of rooms down a long hallway to get to. The in-room coffee was terrible tasting.

The hotel is basic. Restauranr and bar are cafe style. The area is great for relaxing sitting on the beach but not much else ro do very limited shops and restaurants unless to take taxi's

We couldn't sleep because of the AC that wasn't fixed. Terrible stay.

I stayed in 824, the AC was not working properly. I informed the reception that they were going to send a technician and that never happened. The next day they said they were going to deduct 50% of the valet, which never happened. The truth is I will not go to that hotel again. They charge you a charger fee in the bar and restaurant, it is very expensive, I do not recommend it.

Great stay

The valet is $42 a night and that's the only parking on site. You can come and go as you please though so that was great. There's also a resort fee but that's typical. Great view of the boats passing by from the pool and also our balcony. The cookies were very good when we checked in but a little hard when we checked out.

The pool was cold and the hot tub had stuff in it from the tree thats overhead. Not really a deal breaker though because the view was beautiful.

Great hotel - We have a good time

The room was comfortable, plenty of space. We travel with our babyboy with a stroller. So it was a must for us. The location for us was great since we had family staying close. The rooms are quite and the bed were huge.

We have never been disappointed when staying at Double Tree and this was no exception.

The pool area was nice, right on the intracoastal waterway. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable.

When we left there was a major jamb up of cabs, ubers, private cars, etc. at the front entrance. Lots of hotel guests waiting for their transportation all with luggage in a small area. I don't think there is an easy fix and it all worked out, just took some time.

Not worth the money I paid

My stay over all was okay. I decided to rent here for my husbands 37th birthday with our 10 month old baby girl. We requested a crib and the one provided to us was broken and had to wait a long time till a new one arrived to our room and it was already our baby’s bed time… we also had dirty towels left in our bathroom with dirt on them and no shower gel at all. The beds were very uncomfortable and also the fact that I’m 9 months and about to give birth in 2 weeks the ac in the room wasn’t cooling down. The pool area was nice and decent. Our service at breakfast wasn’t the best. We were greeted by a host who seemed to not be having a good morning and seemed to not care about her job nor how she greeted her customers. Our waitress seemed to be under stress as she was the only one serving the tables and their computer system was down so she had to write everything down.

Going to double tree we felt relaxed and really enjoyed our short vacation.

The easy access to the beach was wonderful. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and having the tiki bar right there too was nice. Checking in with a cookie was a bonus. Having the bikes to rent made it fun going around town.

Overall the stay was really nice. Our room was near the elevators so we could hear some foot traffic and there was a door someone in the hallway kept shutting and it would shake the whole wall the TV was on. I was nervous the decorative mirror would fall off.

Location is very good, short walk to the beach . Comfortable rooms Valet parking staff is nice and efficient

Staff very rude (few exceptions). They will not care, will not provide solutions and will not make what they commit to. They charge $5 for receiving packages in front desk and often packages will be "missing". It happened twice in my case and they will not make any effort to find them, you will be sent to talk to mane people and even to their sister hotel across the street. You are on your own. They recorded wrong details for my reservation and when I requested the ammendment, person in front desk was totally rude and simple hung the phone. I had to send somebody in order to insist for missing packages, which surprisingly were found after I left. During weekends this hotel becomes very crowded and noisy because of parties and events. If you stay In a room facing north you will have a strong light from the building next door all night. You will be charged and additional $25 daily fee per person for "resort" even when you do not even go close to the resort area. Lock in my room broke and nobody will go up to help you. You have to go downstairs. I got locked out and I was moved temporarily to another room and wait a couple hours late at night because the had no qualified technicians at those late hours.

The location is nice

The front desk staff and managers are barely speaking English with no understanding and OVER charging with unauthorized transactions. I’ve been on the phone for a 5 days trying to show proof and retrieve back what they took from us! I will NEVER EVER stay here again and will never recommend anyone to stay there!

Great location, clean, and beautiful

Everything about the property was great! Pool amazing, warm cookie when checking in, and allowing us to checkin on the app was so cool especially opening the door with the app.

The wild rule that you cannot bring food or cooler to the pool. It’s brutally hot and also once checked out we were still on property until we had to get our car and couldn’t bring our stuff in the pool. The staff felt like drill sergeants checking bags and the rule is absolutely ridiculous.

Customer service is awful, especially from Ms. Ramos. Missed breakfast included because staff decided to open an hour later one day. I asked if I could get something to eat from the shop as I already paid for breakfast and she was rude and useless. No replacement breakfast or compensation was offered. Poor breakfast, probably the worst I've seen in a hotel of this category in the US

There was no hand and body lotion or conditioner on arrival, and when making reception aware the following day, we got back to our room late in the day and neither had been refilled as requested despite the maid had been into clean the room, replace towels and make up the beds.
