Horrible, not worth the price , I wish I’d took photos

Great safe location

First they cancel my room, because they overbooked their suites , the entire building is old and rinky dink so I asked to view a standard room before I accepted less than what I paid for… first room smelled so bad and no sheets were on the stained mattress, the second room the door wouldn’t open at all, the staff could t even get it open… that’s all I needed to see … buh bye

I booked this hotel through Booking.com on 06/02/2025-06/05/2025. Upon arrival the hotel corridor and lobby smelled of THC. We were given room 201. As we walked through the halls to our room we noted very worn and tired carpet with bleach stains throughout, my teenager said to me "mom I don't know about this place". We arrived to room 201 and opened the door to find the WORST furniture that I have ever witnessed in a hotel or motel. Both arms of the sitting room chair the leather was completely ripped and worn terribly, the pull-out sofa was a disgust. More stains than I can describe, I've seen better more sanitary furniture on the curb ready to be pick up and thrown away. My son made it to the bedroom and upon entering we saw multiple roaches scurrying across the walls. We immediately went back down to the lobby and checked out, and booked at a nearby Embassy. Booking.com is refusing to refund my $297 because the property who I've spoken to multiple times is refusing to issue the refund on their end. Of note the manager Kyle has told me multiple times that he has entered a full refund, but it was all a lie. I have since filed a complaint with the MI Board of Health and Choice Hotels, next step to file a civil complaint for services not rendered and distress due to the time I've spent on this issue.

Location is good, staff is friendly.

We booked a suite but first given a single room. On complaint we were told that suite is not available due some system issue. On insisting for the suite we were asked to stay in the single room till suite is available at 4:00 Pm which then 5 Pm then 6 Pm then found it on 7;00 PM. Key pad of the single room was not working and we were stuck as we would not be able to leave the room open with our stuff. Later same issue with suite door. Then I specifically asked if they can use master key to let us go out and in for the day.

Staff was nice

Power was out half our stay. Not their fault but didn't feel compensated at all. I'm disabled and had to walk up the stairs to the room. Spent a bunch on Doordash because dinner service was canceled understandably. All of the amenities other than the pool area were closed and filled with like, 9 kids and one adult watching them on their phone in the pool.

I didn't like the professionalism of Chelsea and Erica .They are the most rude and unprofessional staff I ever met in my life. I was given the option to pay daily weekly or monthly and they kept entering my room with my 10 year old son on asking him to leave. I owed 1 day and was at my grandmother funeral when they called.

Checked in frertedgreat smiling experience with the front desk attendant. Put my bags in the room and headed back out to a families wedding. Upon returning to my room. It was a place to stay

Was not the room I paid for and reserved. I suppose to have a room with a couch that pulled out. My daughter couldn't stay with me so did see her for father's day. Staff was great

We came from outside of Us with a small dog 40 min before check in. Needed to change our clothes and to go to Memorial Asap Receptionist was willing to let us check in earlier, but not chief reception lady.It was very disappointing.

room itself was clean and comfortable

common spaces were absolutely filthy: stained carpets, mud and dirt on tile areas in common areas, elevators slow and beat up interiors. Rather shocking disparity between room interiors and the rest of the place. Noisy, unkempt kids and adults wandering around in the hallway. Poor quality excercise room AND at least two of the three machines didn't even work!

Not worth the risk.

I was double charged for my room, then told I wasnt by staff with multiple forms of proof. When I called the general manager she was very rude. The corporate manager still has not yet called me back. The room was FILTHY, fridge smelled of urine. See pics for proof. The other residents were loud, rude, creepy as hell and we did not feel safe at all. We stayed one restless night and checked out to relocate to a safe place. Still fighting with the property for my original refund.

My Worst Stay EVER!!!

This literally was THEE WORSE stay I've ever had. This place was filthy...it smelled...the front desk service was awful particularly (Connor) he was rude and just plain mean. And they have persons that I'm assuming that live there, as its an extended stay...and I was approached by a man who asked me if I needed drugs. This place should be shut down.

Friendly Staff, Rooms Very Stinky and not Very Clean

The front desk person was very friendly. There was a lot of water pressure.

The first room smelled like someone had just smoked a pack of cigarettes in it. I was given another room that didn't smell as bad upon entering but as soon as the heat was turned on and entering the bathroom that same smell was present. When I left, all my items smelled of cigarette smoke. The room also had pebbles around the base of the bed and the outlets by the light would not hold my charger. I moved the nightstand to access an outlet and the floor/area by the nightstand was very dirty. When showering, it smelled like there was someone smoking in the bathroom. There were no hand towels - just 2 bath towels and approx 8 washcloths. The shower had missing hardware and the shower head was black around each of the major water jets. The carpet, drapes and shower curtain were stained.

Receiptionist gave me three room keys and two room doors never opened and third room was not at all cleaned. Finally she gave the key to the clean room, I had to go up and down for 4 to 5 times just for the keys. Lobby is smelly, no proper ventilation. No breakfast provided which is very bad.
