Sonesta Essential Vacaville Napa Valley

We were visiting family in the area and checked in here for an overnight on the 4th of July. Upon arriving we found the facility was worth more than we had expected. First; this is a pet friendly hotel and we found many other guests had brought their pets with them. (Not an issue for us) Second; the staff gave us a great room, on the top floor, overlooking the parking lot. They explained that later that evening there would be a grand fireworks display (for the 4th) about a block away from the hotel, and that we could watch the show from the comfort of our room. (As promised it was quite a show) Third; The next morning they laid out an excellent breakfast buffet: hot food included omelettes , sausage, country potatoes, and fresh (not frozen and microwaved) waffles. Also Includes a variety of juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, bagels, pastries and some amazing Turkish coffee!

Air conditioner needs maintenance.

It was spacious, especially the breakfast area. They have this best pillows!

If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay this is your place. The lady was supposed to have the breakfast shut down, but she let us have breakfast even though she was supposed to have everything put away.

It is in a very odd location. It seems like there are people who live there, which makes it uncomfortable for people who are not used to it. The area didn’t seem to be that great.
