I liked that there was on-site security patrolling the property. I like that the elevator worked with no issues and how the room key card gives you access to the gym and laundry room

I didn’t like how ran down the rugs looked all around the building. And how my room was dirty, specifically the bedsheets, pillows, and floor.

Quick stay

The bed was comfortable and the hotel in a convenient location to quick places to grab a bite or breakfast.

Hotel property seemed dated. I didn't get a good warm and fuzzy vibe from the place as things seemed a bit worn upon careful inspection. There was chipped paint in bottom corners of bathroom and the cabinet looked like it was peeling in spots. The on/off light switches were old and tile floors unmatching in the bathroom where they had been repaired and a picture frame hanging on the wall with just brown cardboard inside? For staying 1 night it was a very good value as the place was clean but I didn't want to spend much time in the room. Just to sleep 1 night and then go home. The bed was comfy.

Although there is room for improvement for the room, the attentive staff makes you feel at home.

Sonesta Simply Suites Orange County Airport has a decent location and value, but is a little bit run down. Fortunately, the staff is very welcoming and works hard to make the stay enjoyable. We like the full kitchen, the spacious room, and the large desk. The laundry facility and the gym were also very appreciated.

The fan in our bathroom didn't work, but the hotel replaced it the same day we notified them. The room is generally clean, but the carpet is a bit old and musty. They might need to do deep cleaning more regularly - especially since many guests seem to bring pets to the hotel.

There was not alot to like.

Food left in the refrigerator from the last guest that was in the room i paid for. None of the outlets worked. I re eieved no maid service for the entire time I was there.

HORRIBLE

Manager would NOT help us get into our room and was extremely rude. Young short Asian girl who told me she was the manager when I asked to speak with one, she was aware we drove all the way from Arizona and it was my birthday. It ruined our entire trip and we had no where to stay as it was a Friday night and late and everything was sold out. This hotel and this manager made us have a horrible experience and we will NOT be returning. Also you need to change how you expect forms of payment.. absolutely bullshit no cash and no form of card???? How the hell do you even stay here!!!

the location and the fact that they are pet friendly is what made this Sonesta right for us,

i did not like paying to park. the pet fees are a bit pricey. this was not a vacation for us. we stayed here after losing our home.

We were here during a move and while THAT was stressful staying here was comfortable and peaceful.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond for us. Starting with the first night here. We got our room and there was only one bed. I selected the wrong room on the app. They were kind enough to switch us to a room with two beds at no extra charge. We picked Simply Sonesta Suites for the location. It is the perfect location because it is close to my job and we are apartment hunting in Costa Mesa. My sister and I have been extending our stay every 4-5 days since the last week in August. That said with each new reservation we sometimes would have to change rooms due to availability. However, Hotel Staff ( Rosa and Raymond ) especially knew we preferred the room with double occupancy and made every effort to accommodate us. We decided to stay here until we find our new permanent place to live but I was not able to secure a new booking before they sold out of rooms. It looks like we will have to find some place else for now. Not looking forward to that!!!

Having to leave here and hoping that the next place will be as friendly. helpful, and accommodating as Simply Sonesta has been. However they have a lot to live up too. I already know that "S.S.S." ( Simply Sonesta Suites ) is more affordable than anything else around here. My sister and I both enjoy our stays here so much. the beds are so comfortable I do not like having to guess about the comfort level of our stay away. until next time...

DISAPPPOINTED!! heard great things about the hotel chain, sad and paid too much! like a Motel 6

They allowed pets, Beds were very comfortable and kitchette was nice to have, complete with full size refrigerator and sink. Also there were dishes to use instead of paper plates! microwave was clean and so was the refrigerator.

Room smelled like it needed to be cleaned! I think the carpet was very dirty and floor was sticky in some places. The sink leaked on the turn on handle. No dish soap to use to wash dishes or stuff to use dishwasher. Only 2 tea bags and one coffee for my 3 day stay. Shower was awful, had mold or black stuff on soap shelf. Towels were thin but ok. furniture was old and the lamp shade was tattered with holes and rips in it! There was a frame on the wall empty and sticky areas on desk. The TV remote had no batteries and no backing to hold them in,tried to call front desk and phone didnt work. Had to go to desk to get batteries and they never fixed my phone.

Two spiders in room. Window screen was ripped and falling off. No hand soap or dish soap in room. No trash can in bathroom or kitchenette. Outside of toilet bowl was dirty and there was splattered red-ish food on side of refrigerator next to sink. A 1/4" metal plate was glued onto the wall by the tub in bathroom for no apparent reason. Looked so strange. It fell off spontaneously to reveal a hole in the wall. Why not fix the hole properly with new drywall and paint? The heat control knobs on the stove top didn't fit and was just balanced on the top of the stem. We didn't cook anything b/c the place was funky

Low cost accommodation - don't expect too much

The room was very spacious, and equipped with a small kitchenette area, that would have given some facility for catering had I been staying longer.

The fridge was so noisy that I had to turn it off in order to sleep in the room. The bathroom was particularly tired, with fixtures and fittings falling off the wall.

We liked the property it was really clean and it was really close to everything from Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Irvine. The property and everything around it was really quiet and cozy.

The only complain we have was the one lady at the front desk when we checked in was rude.

It's a Decent Stay

The price and location of the hotel were very convenient.

The gym had no dumbells to work out with, so I couldn't get the full exercise treatment. And there were Nats in the room, hole in the bathroom wall, brown stains on the bathroom wall around mirror, no plunger in the bathroom, no pans in the room, and finally, they had roaches, I saw 2. One in the tub and one big one on the room floor.

I liked the bed it was very comfortable to sleep in and the area was nice.

I enjoyed the friendly staff and the place was very spacious. The hotel was set up very nice and it was a nice place to say.

Some improvements that the hotel could make is to put a better curtain in the shower. I also wish I did not have to pay for parking per day at the hotel. Other than that it was a good stay.
