We stayed there in 2025 and were happy. This year the place had more wear/tear…. not enough employe

Location was fine. The Grove restaurant is barrage at best. Rooms had wear and tear, dirty bed foundations, dirty bath fans and HVAC was unreliable. There was pool scum along the pool tiles

Relaxing Stay

I liked the area around the pools and restaurant. It was relaxing to sit around the firepits at night. The water view was nice and sitting on the patio and deck was relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are cats around the property so if you like cats that is a plus.

One reason we picked this location was because they had a shuttle to downtown. However, the shuttle stopped running at 5pm. I wished it ran until 8 or 9pm. The living room space was a little small for 5 adults. The outlets in the nightstand didn't securely seat plugs so they couldn't be used. The room temperature was hard to regulate. The downstairs shower temperature fluctuated constantly making it hard to get the temperature right.

The 51daily resort fee +tax. We arrived at 5 and there was no more shuttles to keywest so we had to take an uber, so the resort fee was pretty much given to them for nothing. I wasnt clearly informed that this will be an extra fee paid on arrival

Great place for families!

The property is great for families. Far enough away from the main attractions but quiet. The pool area is great. The rooms are large and well stocked. Service is great and they check to see if you are happy. You can jet ski on property.

We had trouble with the hot water in the showers. We were in both the lower and upper rooms. They were attentive but it was not fixed. They should have offered a discount or some perks. It was very expensive the week after Christmas. Way too much for for lukewarm showers.

Had to be moved from the first room due to a strong smell of mold. Had some clothing stolen from housekeeping. Will never stay here again! No remedy provided by staff. We go down twice a year.

After arriving to this villa HELL HOLE #39B on 9/28/25 and doing a walk around the grounds, I was very disappointed. My biggest disappointment came from entry of my room, looking at dirty carpet stairwell leading to upstairs. Once arriving upstairs, the furniture was filthy. The room had cracked blinds, and the smell upon entry was disgusting. It smelled like wet dogs …my bad funky people. I wasn’t there an hour and I voiced my concern, but they did not want to give me a refund. 1 star is the best I can do for this review and that’s pushing it. I immediately discharged myself from this room and went and got a very nice hotel called Capitana which is only 4 years old and very nice and clean and was 50 times better. People, stop leaving those fake reviews.

Gorgeous, relaxing, comfortable

The property was gorgeous. We had a beach view suite. I loved the room. The shuttle to the beach was so convenient and our bus driver was friendly. I liked that all the cats were fed. I loved the adult only pool. Quiet and lovely to read in. I loved our dinner server-I can’t remember her name! She was super friendly and helpful with other questions and she made us feel at home when we came in

We were told our room would be cleaned automatically. It wasn't the first day and I called and told them the next day. It was then cleaned and was immaculate. It was rectified as soon as possible. We saw the cleaning woman 2 days later and she was a bit surly. We didn’t let it affect us

I have to say the room was spacious ,bed was very comfortable and very cleans far as the pool we used the adult only pool very quite. Our day of arrival we were waiting for our room we had a drink staff very friendly, also had lunch, and breakfast the last day food was excellent and testy.

I have to say that the tables and chairs were we had lunch and breakfast need to either be replaced or sanded and revarnished. I would not eat there again very dirty.

We enjoyed our stay! Rooms were spacious and clean for our group of 8. The staff was super attentive and kind. The location was close enough to Duval street, but far enough away to have a peaceful moment if needed. The views from our hotel room were beautiful.

Give yourself enough days to enjoy what's being offered

The property and its facilities were beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The valet parking is available anytime of the day. Everything is accessible and close by. Overall it was a great experience!

Worked for the week but will not book there again

The staff when checking out was the most helpful. They allowed us to leave our baggage until we were ready to depart the island. The staff working at the Grove pool bar and grill were rude and not helpful.

The location to the main part of the island. The pools were small. The breakfast purchased with the room was unacceptable. The for the cost. Super disappointed in this!

Fun at the Villa

4 pools, hammocks, beach sand out your back door and sunset pier! It was close to town and had a grocery store across the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Grove had excellent food! We were not disappointed. Will go back again.

The queen size bed was too close to the back door which made it a little tricky getting outside.

The Parrot Key Resort is the Perfect Vacation Destination in Key West, FL

The grounds (palm trees, etc.) and multiple pools were very inviting. It was like staying in a tropical paradise.

Bug spraying being done in the morning around breakfast time. Perhaps bug spraying (ants, especially) could be done early in the morning or later in the evening.

The atmosphere is amazing. The grounds are beautiful and the pools and The Grove eating area are both awesome.

Room was nice but there was no extra chair or loveseat…just a bunch of open space. There is nowhere to put your clothes unless you hang them. There’s no dresser…just a cabinet that hides the fridge, safe and microwave but a couple teeny drawers under those but still. Housekeeping never came once to replenish anything. We got in the adult pool and 10 minutes later was told to get out (8pm-ish) because they were closing it and we’d have to go to the main pool so we did but the water was freezing!! So we left. That was very disappointing because the adult pool should stay open.

Staff was friendly, atmosphere was very relaxing, location is very convenient, cleanliness, and bar/restaurant food and drinks were great.

Don't love the required valet to park in the adjoining parking lot. Makes for a hassle when they are busy and also if you just need to grab something out of your vehicle.
