Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast.

Older property, dated rooms in fair condition, messy construction debris outside.

Location is great. The property is undergoing some renovation. I believe that our room had been renovated fairly recently.

The renovation needed to include the fixtures in the shower. Those were old and worn. Also, there was some mildew in the shower that had to have been there for some time.

Queen beds seemed more like full size. No water pressure in bathroom sink. Outlet in bathroom did not work.

I loved the choices. It worked for both hubby and me. We were very happy with the renovations since our last visit.

Breakfast was overall good and there was plenty of variety, room was clean, TV and AC worked well. Shower and bathroom were clean and spacious, plenty of towels too. I appreciated the many soap options and not having just one tiny bar of soap! Bed and sheets were comfy, not the best but pretty good. Check out time is until noon, and as a late sleeper that was nice. Overall a pleasant stay.

AC seemed to randomly turn off and on and not get hotter or colder no matter the setting or temperature. TP was very very thin and the toilet handle didn't work well, had to hold it down a good 10-15 seconds each time. Only a few channels available on the TV. Eggs at breakfast were kinda gross, would not eat them again. Elevator seemed to be old and took a very long time.

Your company told me there was a pool and hot tub at this hotel. There was not! I would have found a different hotel for that purpose alone.

The check-in and checkout process was smooth.

The beds were comfortable with good pillows. The hot breakfast was outstanding. The staff was friendly.

No room darkening curtains on the windows.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chicago. The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. “All the staff were lovely. I just feel like I wasn't informed of anything. “The room was comfortable and clean. The air conditioner worked beautifully. Breakfast was very good and many option they have in break fast for vegetarian and non-veg as well. I like breakfast here. The Apple and Banana also provided in breakfast. The sweet strawberry and sweet curd is very good. The grain and nuts provided in breakfast are really good. Pan cake machine and Toast maker also there in breakfast room that addended more choices in break fast. Milk can was also there in breakfast room you can add as required in milk coffee. The coffee is very good and have good amount of ingredients available there to mix. Microwave help much to make it hot. The microwave provided in room was very very helpful and thank for providing microwave in room. Room door digital lock is very good and open quickly as soon as you swap digital key. Huge free parking lot available for parking. I don't tried but good restaurant in near by area for Lunch/Dinner.

I think location need more close to downtown. Due to rain and traffic traveling from Chicago downtown to Hotel time is around 55 minutes one way, so total almost 2 hours traveling time form and to Hotel to Downtown Chicago. I see the more trash near Lift lobby. Lift Lobby area need to be more clean. Air conditioner fan was making noise if set below 72 temperature.

No swimming pool

I picked it for the location. The room was partially remodeled, but old damaged doors were not replaced.

Air conditioning did not work. and the fan was loud. only 2 bath towels in a 2 bed room. the lobby was so loud I couldn’t hear the desk clerk. no answer when I called the lobby to get towels. no luggage carts available.

Breakfast is always good here!

Charging ports in room not working and the hotel has a bad smell now within the hallways...Things have changed since I first started staying here.

Lobby matches the cheap price, but when you go upstairs ,the hallways and rooms have been renovated.

Room doors clatter when they close so everyone can hear it.

The area was convenient to the location we were visiting.

Attached you will find the confirmation I received originally when I booked the two rooms. I contacted the hotel before we arrived and requested that a bathseat be placed in our room if possible (which they did not do, I had to go downstairs and ask for one) plus when we complained about the rooms the desk clerk was very rude and just said they never have Executive King Rooms with Balconies, he NEVER offered to move us to other rooms like you were told. This hotel was the worse experience I have ever had. Their breakfast is not kept at the right warming temp., we had to use the microwave to reheat EVERYTHING, when I tried to get Cranberry Juice the machine gave me watered down OJ, ALL the juices were watered down plus the non-smoking rooms smell of smoke. I do not understand how they can carry the Holiday Inn name ... Holiday Inn has always been were I try to book my visits but NEVER AGAIN. I am also seriously thinking about nerve using Booking.com to book my stays. On your website you show descriptions that apparently are different than what the Hotels offer, and then say guests are getting great discounts.

The elevator was not working. My husband is a veteran and has a very bad back, no one helped him get his bags to room. The room was not made up, bedding, sheets and comforters all over the floor. Staff member alerted, saw room and said, so what’s wrong with it? Seriously, the beds were not made, this was a new check in.
