Comfortable beds.

No toilet paper. Loud A/C unit. Water main break caused us to have to go elsewhere. The manager was quite rude when we made complaints about the lack of toilet paper and no plain creamer for the mediocre coffee. Breakfast was minimal. We were discounted $50 plus tax after we left. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I had to push my door hard to close it, it wouldn't close on its own. Trying to figure out how work the remote with the TV was worse than college algebra 🤣. Price for hotel was a little high for my liking but it is a tourist area.

Well located hotel with comfortable room and friendly staff.

Good sized quiet room, comfortable bed, facilities including coffee machine, with a fridge and modern bathroom. The hotel had a pool with spa bath which we enjoyed. The hotel location was close to the Colorado river.

Good pet friendly hotel, within walking distance from downtown area.

Breakfast was good, coffee was hot and plentiful. Room was good and bed was comfortable. Check-in was excellent and so was check out. We had a pet and could easily walk outside the hotel with plenty of pet friendly areas. We would stay here again.

I didn't like the fact the sink is outside of the bathroom. There should be a small sink in the backroom to wash your hands.

It was just fine for my business trip.

Breakfast was good, staff helpful and friendly.

Iron mount was too close to the closet ceiling to get it out easily. I got it out but it looked like others had had trouble. Just a construction defect that showed not enough care was taken. A bit noisy before midnight.

Poorly maintained, unclean, and mismanaged—our stay was extremely disappointing.

Location close to most main attractions in Glenwood.

I was very dissatisfied with our recent stay at this location. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that maintenance and guest comfort are not priorities at this hotel. The bathroom sink in our room was completely backed up and wouldn’t drain, and the shower curtain was not water-tight, allowing water to run freely onto the floor. Judging by the visible water stains leaking out from under multiple room doors into the hallway, this seems to be a recurring issue throughout the building. Our breakfast experience was equally disappointing. We arrived at 9:30 AM, well before the posted 10:00 AM closing time, only to be turned away and told breakfast was over. When we pointed out the sign, the manager, Leonardo, dismissively told us it was outdated. No apology or alternative offered. While sitting in the lobby, we witnessed water start leaking from the ceiling, raining down on another guest trying to enjoy their morning. I actually have a video of this—it was shocking and honestly unsafe. I also attempted to use the laundry facilities, only to find one washer and one dryer. The washing machine was in terrible condition—literally falling apart, shaking violently, and clearly not fit for use. To top it all off, the pool was closed for maintenance, which wasn’t communicated to us in advance. Overall, the hotel feels neglected and poorly managed. It’s clear they’re more focused on collecting money than maintaining the property or ensuring a quality guest experience. I won’t be staying here again and would not recommend it to others.

choosing a Holiday Inn express was a bad decision because of the continental breakfast and the room

it was close to everything we wanted to do in Glenwood

1) the bathroom door did not shut properly,we had to use a small carry-on to keep the door shut 2) when l booked the room the photo showed a wall between the Queen beds, and the fold out couch. when I arrived, it had two queen beds and a couch right next to it when you pulled out the bed from the couch, you had about 4 inches on both sides, which meant you could not walk beside the fold out bed ,so you had to climb from the end of the bed to climb in. 3) When l went to the front desk and asked her supposed to for the room in the photo, l was told those rooms have been rented, and this was the only room that was left ( that had the two beds in a fold out couch ) I was sad to hear that. when I was reserving the hotel, it was between two different hotels. This hotel had the wall between the beds and the couch and that is the reason I picked it , the other Hotel had more to offer ( choosing Holiday Inn express was a bad decision)

dissapointing & lack of trust from booking.com for price?

the food was very good fresh & hot that was 1 of the better breakfast i had! good job!! great variety too.

i had to do my own housekeeping, it was not till 3 day that someone told me you had to fill out a sheet to have room done. also i was already charge my room to my card $200.00 over what i booked online. it was to be an average of $125.00 a night & was charge $984.64 from from $639.00 for 5 days cause 4th of july was extra. plus it screwed my cc for the day , i was @ my limit $1000.00 & could not pay my bill @ the village inn. Embarrassing to say the least i thought i was going to be able to pay on another card but hotel said it was already paid.

Originally booked for a family suite for 5 nights . Upon arrival to the room, the AC was not working, the Fridge was dirty ( spilt orange juice) the microwave is dirty, no soap on sink. The countertops was sticky . We were then accommodated to 2 different rooms with the assurance that there would be no changes with the rate. On day 2 we were promised to be given the family room but still did not happen and so we settled with keeping the 2 rooms. During checkout we were billed about$400 more than the original booking. All in all for our 5 days stay we talked to 6 different staff.. I want to thank Blanca who tried her best and the manager on the last day for correcting our bill.. oh , I almost forgot that there were bugs in our room.. I had to request for the housekeeping to vacuum.. Please check room 303. It was coming from the window by the AC and they placed tape on the window, Iguess to keep the bugs from coming in.. It was a very disappointing stay especially during this pandemic when you expect that this hotel will adhere to their IHG cleanliness promise.. I usually do not complain and give negative rating but this one I cannot ignore because of cleanliness, sanitation comcerns…

The room size was adequate. The cleanliness was excellent. The A/C worked perfectly (it was hot outside) and all the furniture was new.

The lack of towels. Yes, towels. We were given 2 bath towels and one face/one wash towel for a family of 4. Also, the fridge was mulfunctioning in room 205 and it froze ALL of our food. All of it. The housekeeping is optional now and you got to fill out a form (!!) every morning if you want your trash emptied or coffee supplies to replenish. What?! Really??? How about I will optionally pay for that optional housekeeping?!

Ok except for the elevator problem. Staff was excellent.

No breakfast just muffins and coffee.

When we arrived the elevator was not working very good. Then it broke. My mom is in a wheelchair and we were on the 2nd floor. We he'd to walk her down 2 flights of stairs. Nothing was offered to help us out. She was very upset. What would happen if there was a fire. We had to leave a day early because of the elevator broke down. As soon as the elevator starting acting up it should have been fixed. Again nothing was offered for our inconvenience. Not real happy about that.

I requested towels and trash empty every day. Always had to put trash and towels out with trash. No breakfast was provided the last two days we were there. Desk clerks were very nice.

Room is too small and has very poor lighting. Bag breakfast with 3 items including the bottle of water. Our in-laws got to breakfast an hour after it opened and there were none left.
