Holiday Inn Express: stylish comfort at the right price

I love the cleanliness, I like the colors of the facility it is really comfortable as well. I love the beds and the pillows, that shower and the dove soap are nice. I always love the free breakfast!!!

During check in the desk clerk was on the phone the whole time, I can only assume they were helping another customer. However the clerk was very friendly and trying to do a lot at once. BUT I liked her.

Great hotel. it was a nice and clean stay. Hotel rooms were clean and beds were very comfy including the pillows. Its away from busy roads. Breakfast was great! My family loved the breakfast and also loved the indoor pool.

Staff extremely rude, very unhelpful and zero people skills and personality, during check out we were running behind staff entered room while I was still in the shower extremely unprofessional and sign was on the door that said do not disturb. And the resort fee is ridiculous more expensive than a really nice Las Vegas resort. Upcharge upon check- in as well.

Very comfortable and welcoming.

I loved the front desk staff, especially Sherrie (I believe was her name). She noted where I was from and I discovered she used to live in my state of Nevada (Reno). She gave me recommendations of fun things to do there which was dear because I’m new to Nevada. I also liked that IHG members could ask for later checkout. The mattress was amazing and the decor very nice in the room. BTW, I said “not applicable” to the services I didn’t use.

I would love if the room doors could be propped open somehow, as I was carting several things on the luggage cart and otherwise (to prevent car theft) and the door kept swinging shut on me. I’d love if breakfast could have gone ‘til 10am.

Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay! Next time we are in Watsonville, this is where we’ll stay!

Friendly staff, hot breakfast, very clean, comfortable bed, and a refrigerator AND microwave! And the 3rd floor view of the slough is very nice.

I wish the window opened more than a few inches for fresh air. Also the water for showers was warm at best… After spending days at the beach a hot shower would have been nice.

Very good except for the exercise room

Breakfast was way better than most for a serve yourself type. All food areas were very clean and the attendant was always making sure everything was stocked. Very nice and helpful employee.

Exercise room was very small and the treadmill was not working. Couldn’t get it to go faster. I could stroll faster than than it went.
