Best Western Hunt's Landing Hotel Matamoras Milford

The staff at the Best Western Hunt's Landing Hotel were phenomenal. The gentleman at the counter the night we arrived was extremely eager to assist and go above and beyond to fulfill every request. I never saw this gentleman so much as take a break our entire stay, he was either taking reservations over the phone, assisting customers at the front desk, or otherwise going throughout the hotel to assist customers. I booked my reservation online and somehow inadvertently requested a pet friendly room despite not having any pets rather than the crib for my 1 year old son that I intended to request, but this gentleman sorted this out quickly and painlessly at check in. All other staff we interacted with were very pleasant as well. I was greeted with a smile and a sincere "good morning" by the woman tending the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was probably the best hotel breakfast buffet I've ever had, and when it came time for breakfast to end, the staff went around and made sure everyone had enough and didn't want any more food before taking it away. Every other hotel I've ever visited, the food just starts vanishing without notice and/or the staff stops refilling the food stations the last hour of breakfast and this certainly was not the case here. I found the omelets especially tasty, whereas my past experiences with eating any eggs at hotel breakfast buffets elsewhere I always found the eggs disgusting. The pool and rooms were well maintained and the landscaping on the property led to a very picturesque view. We will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever we want a pleasant night away from home

The rooms are lovely, clean, and spacious, and the location is excellent.

Spacious pet friendly room, nice setting, good breakfast buffet, and decent workout area.

Floor in room could have been swept better.

They had rooms and a good restaurant.

Needs updating. Shower was lousy.
