Comfortable beds Good value

The faucet in the kitchen was calcified and hardly any water came out. The iron in the water pipes must have oxidized as the water from the kitchen sink tap was browny red when we first arrived. I received too many emails There was only one chopping board and this had been melted at some places. The knives were not sharpened and there was no knife sharpener and no scissors.

Disappointing

Location only 30 meters from skilift,

Bar on the same building, playing music till 3 o’clock at night made very difficult to sleep. No warm water after 16:00, making impossible to shower after a ski day The appartement clearly showed no interest from the owner on maintenance, poor kitchen facilities Old carpet and old meubilair make the apartment old and dirty

Good

Lovely apartment, clean and modern with well equipped kitchen (microwave and oven). Great location next to main uplift to Veysonnaz ski area with ski/ski out (steep red run) for intermediate plus skiers. Bakery 500m away; supermarket a little further. A tip: worth calling up and checking in over the phone (paying tourist taxes) to avoid the massive queues at 1600. You can collect your keys and instructions at 1600 without queuing.

Lack of hot water (boiler in building faulty) meant luke warm showers at best most of the week which wasn't ideal. Nothing the agent could do about it. No compensation offered. Also not clear in the description that the parking and ski locker are not under the building but across the road/down the hill. That was fine for parking (we didn't need our vehicle all week) but useless for ski locker. Some information on rubbish bins/recycling would have been helpful. Bring your own toilet rolls & rubbish bags, tea towels and cloths, etc. The village supermarket is expensive so do a big shop on the way down and just use it for top up items! We skied all day but met a non-skier who said everything in the village is closed 12-1600 so bear that in mind if applicable.
