The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. We liked that the bedroom had a door for privacy. It was nice for the hotel to offer two free drinks per day and the bartender was awesome. An employee named David who checked us in was also great and went out of his way to accommodate us when we asked to be placed on the same floor as family who already was staying there.

There was a sign in the laundry area that said dryer sheets were available for purchase at the front desk, but when I asked to purchase them I was told curtly that they don't sell that. Our room looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly. There were long hairs in the shower when we first came in but I thought that maybe it had been missed after the room had been cleaned. Later I found nail clippers on the vanity counter and a pink comb under the vanity. The real shocker came as we were packing to leave, I found a pair of men's underwear in the vanity cubby. That really grossed me out and I let the front desk employee know. It was unfortunate enough that we were staying at this hotel to attend a funeral in the area, but having the room also appear dirty did nothing to make us feel more welcome or comfortable. The most confusing aspect of this is the fact that my son stayed in a room a few doors down the same hallway and experienced none of the same issues that I did.
