The breakfast was pretty good, and the location was wonderful. I loved that there were a washer and dryer onsite and they were in a clean and secure location. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like. It might be nice to have an extra blanket in the room. Overall, our stay was relaxing and comfortable.

It was close to the Botanical Garden and Galena.
The woman in charge of the breakfast area was friendly and tried to be accommodating. However, the breakfast was lacking. The bacon/sausage was not available, the bread choices were few, the only fruit available were oranges and one of them was moldy. There was a notice on the doorknob stating that if you wanted housekeeping to NOT post the sign. When we came back to the room, the bed had not been made and no towels had been given. When we mentioned this, we were told we had to ask specifically So the signage had no meaning. This will not be a place we will be staying at again. In fact, we are pretty much done with Holiday Inn Express as a whole.
