not worth money

The location was pricy and none of the activities were open so the price i paid was not worth for no activities open. They should adjust the prices when the Spa/Pool and Skiing activities are closed

Close to airport but the facilities were a complete fail.

Location to the airport

Construction outside the door, entire area (no disclosure in advance) obstructed all enjoyment of location. The halls and common areas were in distress and in desperate need of renovation and upgrade. Very unhappy that this was not mentioned in the listing.

Nice hotel but not convenient to town and fall is the off season

The rooms were very nice. They had a concierge as you entered the hotel. They also had a shuttle that took you into town and back.

The property is located about a mile to a mile and a half outside of town right next to the airport. It was not within walking distance to anything. They also advertised breakfast from 8 to 1030 every morning in the elevator and at the restaurant, however they stopped doing that after Labor Day, but all the signs were still up. Had we known that we would’ve left a lot earlier than we did, but we were hanging around to have breakfast when there wasn’t any to be had.

Staff was incredible and location was sure convenient. The rooms were large, clean, well stocked and so comfortable.

I cannot wait to see it after the renovations are complete. With all the construction, the views suffered some, but that’s a given with the project they are undergoing.

Fernando at the front desk was amazing! He was extremely friendly, kind, and always willing to help. He patiently answered all of our questions and made us feel very welcome. His great attitude truly made our stay even more enjoyable.

Was unaware of the current construction. The scaffolding in front of balcony view with workers, no privacy during the morning hours. Also the pool/ hot tub was closed. They did offer a shuttle to rec center pool, but that closed at 6.

The shuttle service was awsome and made getting around Aspen pleasant.

The hotel is under construction and needs a deep clean. We had the so called upgraded room with a balcony and the outdoor furniture was so filthy we didn’t sit out there. The furniture in the room - also needed cleaning .

Disappointing Stay Due to Renovations and Noise Unfortunately, our experience at The Inn at Aspen was far from relaxing. The hotel was undergoing renovations, which we were not informed about prior to our stay. Construction started early in the morning right next to our room, making it impossible to sleep in or enjoy any quiet time. Additionally, the room’s soundproofing is very poor — we could clearly hear guests in neighboring rooms throughout the night, which made it even harder to rest. Overall, the lack of transparency about the ongoing works and the noisy environment made this a disappointing experience.

Would’ve been lovely if we weren’t staying in the middle of a building site

The property is in a good location and the lobby area is very attractive with views of the mountains

The level of building work going on at the hotel was really extreme. There was active building, scaffolding over both the front and the back to the extent that when we looked out of our bedroom window, we literally looked directly onto a building site with scaffolding and diggers. There was a piece of wood nailed across the patio door which meant we couldn’t use our patio. The spa and swimming pool were also closed. Also, we had expected to have breakfast at the hotel and this was not available because the restaurant was closed. It did open at lunchtime and serve lunch and dinner. It’s clearly a lovely hotel trying to carry on operating whilst undergoing major renovation but it really negatively impacted our stay and I was very surprised that they continued to stay open. Misleading from booking.com and hotel mis sold description

I travelled from the UK to Colorado America. Looked at many hotels and criteria required. Facilities, comfort. There was building work all on the rooms, not terrace as stated, no pool, no hot tub or gym facilities. No breakfast option. Scaffolding covering windows and balconies and building men drilling outside.

Building work which hadn’t been stated. A long awaited trip to Aspen. Spoilt!

Too expensive, poor quality

The location was nice and we could ski right to our door. The front desk staff was great!

The pillows have to be the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. We even tried removing the pillows and stuffing sweaters in the pillow cases. It was awful. The hotel is very dated/ dingy/ popcorn ceiling etc. Also, the walls are paper thin and we heard every word our neighbors were saying. Another disappointment was after one quick knock on the door, the cleaning crew walked in our room at 9:12 in the morning when we were laying in bed. Thankfully we were awake but couldn’t believe they just walked in. Seriously, for $700/night, you would think they could afford some updating and seriously…those pillows. We would not stay here again.

Lovely hotel, but restaurant will not be to everyones taste

Although a little way out of Aspen the complementary bus service was very well run and wait times short.

Unfortunately the restaurant which is right by the hotel entrance is separately run from the hotel. The hotel itself will parable appeal to a wide variety of people, but unless you like Mexican food and barbecued meat in an american sports bar environment, the restaurant is unlikely to appeal as much. And that means a trip to town to eat.
