The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. It was very quiet so it was a nice break from the noisy city where we live. It's very close to the ocean, but a very steep climb if you're going to walk. There's a small flat screen TV with Amazon Prime. Harry picked some nice roses from the garden, and stocked the room with two bananas and two granola bars. The coffee maker comes with ground coffee, and there's a kettle with tea coffee, sugar cubes and french vanilla creamers.
Bathroom is very clean, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, and clean towels
It would be nice if there was a bar fridge. This prevented us from buying local perishable food items to take home the next day. Next time we'll have to bring a cooler with ice.

Host was delightful and easy to deal with. Room was very clean and comfortable.

A nice basic room. More like an Airbnb stay than a hotel. The bed was fairly comfortable. Everything was clean. Good location, near the bus and downtown White Rock. No breakfast provided, but we were given a couple of snacks at the beginning of our stay. Coffee and tea as well as kettle and coffeepot in the room. There's a closet with hangers. No cooling but there is heating and windows can open. Plenty of parking available.
It was a bit noisy. There was no bath mat in the bathroom. I would have liked more pillows.

Extended family resides upstairs. Heard children, foot steps over head, dishes being washed etc. Room overlooked a backyard filled with hanging personal laundry. Tub was very high and challenging getting into to shower. No bath mat in tub base. King bed mattress was on top of two side by side spring metal frames that were very noisy when you moved in bed.
Oops, did this in reverse... What I liked.... Quiet neighborhood, good parking in front.
