    We booked this place pretty late, in mid season so it was expensive. But for **** a night we were expecting a bit more. Pros - clean, quiet (in terms of other guests) and minimal noise between units. Nice gardens. Cons - super loud air conditioning unit which we couldn't sleep with it on. No kettle in room. Room smelled musty...perhaps old smoke. Minor aesthetic damage to room and some fixtures. But the weirdest thing about this place were all of the warning signs and notices. Everywhere in reception...notices about huge fines for 30-60min late checkouts, penalties for all sorts of things, a notice on the ice bucket in the room saying not to steal it !? Warnings not to turn on the electric fireplace. I get that hospitality is a difficult business, but there were distinctly more warnings than there was anything welcoming. On balance we don't regret our stay because it was just a base for us, but for the price we would likely look elsewhere next time and plan ahead more.

    Pleasant receptionists, clean room and outdoor facilities. Yard was maintained and was fun to sit outside in.

    Charge ridiculous amount for a small stain of coffee on bedsheet. Would not recommend to anyone
