TownePlace Suites Detroit Warren

We had a king suite. It was very nice! Good sized room with kitchenette and sofa. Kitchenette had a 2 burner stove top, along with microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and dishes. Coffee maker, of course, and also a toaster. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as it was only a couple minutes drive to Andiamo Theater, where we had tickets to a show. Breakfast was included and also very good! There was a lovely looking pool and nice workout room available.

The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. It was a good size, and the couch was comfortable enough. I was happy that the stovetop came in handy as well. My children were very relaxed and made themselves at home. They enjoyed their stay.

The pool area had more water around it than needed. It would be nice for staff to come in and periodically wipe the water up. Even with an adult present, it wasn't safe to have as much water build up as I noticed.

I liked the location.

It was loud and dirty. The agent that checked me in said she wanted to jump off the roof.

There were many different selections, and breakfast was delicious and hot.

I wanted to take my grandaughter and my nephew to have some fun for their birthdays. and to enjoy being on spring break. I booked not one but two suites with your hotel on april 5th with the intention of staying til friday april 7th. upon arriving to check in i was met with a security deposit i didnt know i would have to pay and for each room. Then while checking in i couldn't understand why we were being watched?? during check in one of my reservations just couldnt be found for some reason so my daughter had to take a room SMALLER THAN WHAT I BOOKED FOR HER AND MY GRAND CHILDREN. ONCE REACHING MY ROOM I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL (1ST CALL/ONLY CALL) STATING THAT MY GRAND CHILDREN WERE RUNNING IN THE HALL,(WAS NOT MY GRAND CHILDREN RUNNING IN THE HALL EITHER.) And that if he(front desk) recieved any complaints that i would be asked to leave and my deposit would be forfeited. I IMMEDIATELY UNDERSTOOD IN THAT MOMENT WHY WE WERE BEING WATCHED WHEN CHECKING IN...(KIDS) I DIDNT LIKE THE WAY I OR MY FAMILY WAS TREATED. I FELT LIKE WE WERE BE WATCHED AND TREATED DIFRENTLY , I WAS TOLD THAT THEIR WERE RESIDENTS HERE AND BUSINESS PEOPLE STAYING HERE.. I REALLY FEEL ANGRY THAT I WAS THREATENED TO BE PUT OUT AND IM SPENDING MY MONEY JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.... AND BECAUSE OF MY CURRENT SITUATION I ENDED UP STAYING ME AND MY SISTER TIL SATURDAY MORNING. MY DAUGHTER REFUSED TO STAY TIL FRIDAY BECAUSE OF THE HORRIBLE SERVICE. AND I WILL BE TAKING MY MONEY AND BUSINESS SOME WHERE ELSE... I COULD GO ON IN REGARDS TO ANOTHE SITUATION WITH THE STAFFF BUT IT REALLY ISNT WORTH IT. IM JUST DISAPOINTED THAT TWHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO E A ENJOYABLE FAMILY GET TOHETHER FOR AFTER DEALING WITH SOME FAMILY EMERGENCY, WAS RUINED BY PROFILING US BECAUSE WE HAD CHILDREN WITH US...
