Beautiful Sunny stay in a new refurbished hotel

Lobby, beds were comfortable. Room size, my fav was the bathroom lighting, the gold Kohler fixtures, the handheld and ceiling showerhead options, the pressure was great, the water got hot, the pool and beach were perfect.Walkable to many stores and food options, cvs Walgreens Starbucks you name it it was across the street. I did not want to leave. Staff was friendly and went out of their way ro help and did it with a smile and genuinely. The valet was fast and friendly. The hotel gave a free pass to a nice gym across the street and I had the best workouts ive ever had while on vacation. Their gym is not quite open yet. The lobby bathrooms were beautiful too. I really really hope they can maintain the newness, the freshness and the niceness of this newly refurbished hotel in the years to come so it will not become another one of the hotel chains who are charging thousands a week for old dirty outdated rooms. This place is amazing and I will come back!!

I didnt like CARPET in our room! Its a brand new room and I was surprised to see a carpet for flooring. It was stained and the floor beneath it was uneven and hard, there was no padding below the carpet. The housekeeping could be a bit more detailed and leave regular coffee(i had 4 pwcks of decaf and no reg and also no creamer and 2 sugars) and clean the bathroom floors and glass doors but otherwise they were wonderful. All I had to do was call down and they fulfilled the request quickly. Also sheets were scratchy. I wore full pj's to bed as to not feel the sheets scratching my skin. These are just picky things so did not detract from my 5 star review bc everything else was amazing and completely worth the high price to stay on the beach.

This hotel is worth going!! BRAND NEW SPOTLESS CLEAN HOTEL!! As we checked in the hotel we got some fresh squeezed orange juice and extra nice staff! Rooms are so nice and lobby is incredible gorgeous with every kind of detail it may have such as games and books! Pool is gorgeous and excellent service! As well as beech with beach chairs towels and all u need! worth every penny!

The beach was a great swimming area.

The cleaning crew disrespected the “do not disturb” sign on my door and when I went to my room they had it open and were entering. The parking was across the street next to a gas station and was dirty/full of potholes. The pool was small with limited free seating, as well as the beach. You had to pay for shade.

The room smelled terrible, there was mold in the shower, the phone didn’t work neither did the hairdryer. When I went down to the front desk to let them know they were already aware. Not cool.

I’ll never come back

The beach

It was dirty! The room was falling apart, water damage ceiling where drywall and paint were coming of the ceiling. The carpet was stained everywhere, along with pulled up by the sliding glass door and just laying there. Trip hazard coming back in from balcony. The face of the dresser was ripped off. The list goes on. And if you dare to look behind the bed cause the remote fell back there it hasn’t been pulled out and cleaned in god knows how long. Had to be 2 inches of dust and hair back there. The bathroom door jambs are rotted as well. It felt like the place was falling apart and dirty.

Do not book this hotel!!!

The pool was nice and the location is good.

To start, received this after booking: "We would like to inform you that our hotel is currently undergoing renovations to enhance our facilities and improve your future visits. As a result, there will be construction noise from Monday to Saturday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience. Rest assured, our team is committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible." Construction noise started at 0715. The sheets were used in our room and needed changed. Was told this would be done in 20 minutes. After 2 hours had to call housekeeping again. The motel is rundown and filthy. No one inspects the rooms after cleaning. There was dust in the top of the closet, USED SHEETS, mildew, and A/C sounds like a freight train. STAY AWAY!!!!

We stayed here before and this stay was not as nice!

We understand it was under construction but I would say the location was what we liked about the property.

The hallway carpets were very dirty with older, dirty rooms. There was no restaurant and the coconut bar was limited. The front desk staff was polite except one gentleman that told me ‘to go to another floor’ as the ice machine was not working on our floor. The VERY nice man in the little cafe in the lobby would give us 2 cups of ice a day!!! The pool staff was very nice but people played loud rude music over the music at the pool! Also had to ask for more coffee and towels everyday!

The pool and lobby were very nice and well maintained.

The hallways were dirty like they don’t own a vacuum. The bathtub looks like it’s just perpetually dirty. There was not a single accessible outlet by the bed to charge your phone. The bed was hard as a rock. Housekeeping barely came to empty trash and make a bed. Didn’t even bother to vacuum. Which being on the ocean, we ended up with so much sand by the end of the week.

Run down hotel saved by its location

Great location right on the beach, best appreciated with an oceanfront room. Lots of restaurants across the road.

The lady who checked us in was so rude. Later we asked three times for a coffee top up before we got it. Pool staff very good, hotel staff poor. Housekeeping only make the bed and replenish towels. The hotel rooms are very rundown, however having said that everything in our room worked OK and the room was comfortable. Beware of construction noise.

Big disappointment for a $500.00 room for 1 night.

Close to the beach.

Really old hotel and you can see dirty carpet in the hallway. Door to the room was marked with nicks, and gouging from things that must have knocked into it. Tile missing from the bathroom. Carpet dirty. The hotel we were told was built and opened for business in 1970. It was really showing its age.

The beach was nice but the hotel was a mess

Loved the hotel lobby. Very pretty and the aesthetic was nice. Didn’t like the first room we were in. Damp floors, couch and bed. No AC. toilet broke and they wanted to use chemicals to clean the vents. They us to stay out of the room for 5-6 hours because of the chemicals. The new room was nice but the water got shut off unexpectedly for 2 hours and the construction noises started at 6:30 am. When they were expected to start around 8 am.

Less than stellar but at least we had a place to sleep, I guess.

Under construction, hard to find where you’re supposed to pull in when you’re arriving, room wasn’t super clean - bathroom was less than clean and my husband killed a roach, no coffee maker in the room, only 1 extra pillow and no real blanket for the pull out sofa bed. Had to valet for $35 a night or else self park for $25 a night across the highway. For almost $300 a night, we expected more. This felt more like a $75/night hotel.

The outdoors are nice, the hotel inside and the rooms are hot, ugly, outdated, dirty with rude staff and everything they sell is very expensive. Stay somewhere else don’t waste your money here.

Nothing in the room, had microwave, no glassware(disposable or glass) , no coffee maker, no hot pool. Pool area close at 3 pm Saturday for a wedding, closing pool bar and food service.

The property is dingy , old and in need of repairs and upgrades. The rooms were so stuffy , bad odors, just felt dirty even though it was clean. The floors smelled like marijuana , definitely not a kid friendly environment. The pool is closed for renovations, I think they should bring the price down for your stay. Parking like with most waterfronts is across the street, no valet. The staff was friendly, I’ll give them that.

Location was perfect, staff was nice! Notified us 2 days before we arrived that pool was closed , poolside bar and the playground was all closed! This really put a damper on our stay. We stay here every year when it’s all up and running we love it

Kitchen 305, beach location

No Parking. No valet, so hotel guest park across the busy Collins Ave (parking pass provided, but there is a hotel parking charge). No cups in the room. Requested cups, and a staffer brought the cups but didn’t knock. Just used master key and came in with cups. Carpets need to be cleaned.

Closeness to the beach and pier

Everything was broken the pool was under construction the drain in the tub was clogged the keys were not working had to go down to the front desk 11 times the ice machine was broken on every floor we had a noise disturbance where the police had to be called in a woman was arrested in the hallways on the six floor was dirty, empty containers of food left outside of the door the valet charged us $25 to do a self park across the street on another block with our luggage with our kids horrible

We enjoyed the facility and it was so close to so many places to walk shop and eat.

The people on the beach only in front of this hotel, arguing, screaming, fighting, police had to be called. Made some of the people leave, but others stayed in the beach all night being loud and woke us several times during the night. No quiet calm sunrise for us. That was bullchit! The money we payed to be able to watch the sunrise was well worth it. Listening to those people ruin it for us, priceless 🤬
