    I loved the spacious and lovely room. The friendly staff and facilities (open from 7:30 to 22:30) on the roof floor are nice. Even though San Francisco streets aren't made for walking, you can walk many places. The jacuzzi is lovely for sore feet. PS: The water machine is near the reception desk and the lobby.

    Overall Rating: Highly Recommended! ​If you are looking for a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and value in the heart of the city, this hotel is a top-tier choice. ​Unbeatable Location ​The location is a major highlight. Situated just one block from Union Square, it puts you right in the center of the action. Even better, it is incredibly close to the Powell BART Station, making transportation to and from the airport or around the city effortless. ​The Room: Spacious & Functional ​I was thoroughly impressed by the room. It felt very spacious and exceptionally clean. Unlike many city hotels, the room is highly functional and comes equipped with: ​A microwave and refrigerator (very convenient!) ​Daily housekeeping service that keeps everything spotless. ​Complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled water provided in-room. ​No Resort Fees: One of the best perks—no hidden daily charges! ​Amenities & Facilities ​Club House: A great space to relax with complimentary tea and coffee available. ​Security: I felt very safe throughout my stay. There is staff available 24/7, and the overall security of the building is excellent. ​Service: The staff are incredibly nice and friendly. They also offer luggage storage if you arrive before check-in time, allowing you to start exploring the city immediately. ​Final Verdict ​A clean, large, and safe hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Between the friendly service and the lack of resort fees, it’s a rare find in such a prime location. Definitely recommended!

    Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Club Donatello. Room was spotless, all staff were ultra friendly and extra helpful by accommodating a late check-out. Would definitely recommend.

    Convenient to get around SF. Staff aren’t the friendliest but that’s typical American hospitality. Had picked a room without shower curtains on purpose but was still assigned one and could only switch after one night.
