The lion's share of my hotel stays are in budget brands and most of them are fine - I know what I'm getting and what I'm not.
As a minimum they should be clean and this place was, frankly, a disgrace. The hallways and stairwells were strewn with detritus and even the room hadn't been vacuumed especially well. There was obvious areas that hadn't been dusted either.
I don't mind that a hotel is dated (as this one is) if it's well looked after. There just seemed to be no pride in the upkeep inside or out. Luckily the bed was comfortable and I slept well, and the shower was also fine.
Admittedly I was late for breakfast so didn't have the full choice but even that was charmless and full of 'do this, don't do that' notices.
Thankfully I'm unlikely to be in the area again but for the benefit of others if you're not going to refurb it (which it needs), at least give it a deep clean.

This is a hotel I have frequented often on our journey to finding a home. Some of the staff are quite sweet. The hotel could definitely use an upgrade as far as facilities and the breakfast is convenient.

This property looked fairly nice on the outside. However - once we got to our room - it was a different story. The door was broken - you could literally see out to the hallway standing by the door. The carpet was stained, sticky & just nasty. The lamps were broken. The microwave and coffee maker were broken. The tub was clogged - I had to stand in 4 to 5 inches of water while showering. The toilet was lopsided. I could go on. Just dont stay there!

This place is loaded with roaches!! Nasty!! Room wasn’t clean, we had to change the bed sheets ourselves!!
