The owner goes out of his way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Staff is very friendly. The rooms as well as grounds are immaculate. It’s always quiet. Very comfortable beds. We have been staying there for 14 years and never look elsewhere when we visit the Brooklyn / Woodstock area. I’ve already book our reservation for October 2027! Great restaurants near by.

Cleanliness and nice wooden floor

Most of all, it was super clean. No complaints at all about that, The owner (I think) was very pleasant for the brief time I saw him. No noise from other guests. Bed was fine. For one night, one person it was fine. Some neutral observations: The room was very sparse, and could really be called institutional. No bedside lamps. Pretty much nothing extra someone could steal. Overhead lights were a cold LED color.
It can get loud at night next to the main road, and I was in a back room. Not really criticism, but there was a smell that I couldn't put my finger on. Not exactly bad, some kind of a room fragrance product, but it seemed like there was just a touch of cigarette smoke in it. Maybe the last bit of years of cig smoke that won't go away. It was not great for me.
