SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Rocklin

Easy access, noisy family tenants. Property should separate family units from singles/couples units. Breakfast was accommodating.

My room carpet & hallway carpet wasn’t very clean. Also bed covering had an odor.

Locations was very convenient for us.

Everything is to old, all electronics inside the room are too noisy and was dirty.

It was clean and quite safe.

It was very nice and clean and beautiful.

Generally the breakfast was good. Liked the number of breakfast cereals individually packed available.

Need more options for vegan & Lacto - vegetarian diets. Too many meat based items and insufficient sugar free items.

I like the environment, they serve good breakfast on time and staff was super helpful and friendly.

1. Guests are allowed to smoke cigarettes just outside at the entrance of the building. There wasn’t anywhere else for us to enter the building and we had to walk through the “smoking area” to enter and exit the building. They need to move their “smoking area “ away from the entrance walkway! My hair smelled like nicotine. 2. Cramped hallways with dirty laundry cart blocking my room from 8pm-11pm 3. I asked for a quiet room and was given a room facing the freeway. Heard traffic all night. 4. We asked for a luggage dolly. The reservation lady told us they don’t have any of those. My sister is handicapped and I had to make four trips to bring in our luggage and her equipment.

Breakfast was limited compared to prior stays. Safety concerns, hall entrance door lock was broken.

Extremely noisy, right next to the freeway!!! Staff was less than helpful. 3 out of 4 entrances were either broken or being painted, during a weekend!!!! The keys were constantly getting demagnetized. We stay at a lot of hotels & have never had such a ridiculous stay, it was almost comical.

Breakfast options were ok better than none

TV didnt work in the room, the bed mattress was horrible

Jose at the front desk was very friendly. Explained rules and explained how to get to my room. The property was clean and organized in front entry. The room was clean as well as the bed. They had their air conditioning on as I entered the room which felt good coming out of the heat.

The bed was uncomfortable. Every time I rolled over the metal around the bottom, made a noise and woke me up. The door wouldn’t stay open in the bathroom so it was difficult to get in and I wasn’t even in a wheelchair. Floor the shower was slippery, but maybe it’s only used for wheelchairs. The TV was disappointing because there was about 15 cable channels, but nothing really interesting to watch. Not a sitcom or movie. Maybe it’s just this brand of hotel that doesn’t have quality cable for TV.

The noise. Doors slamming, children running and screaming in halls.

The room was clean. The air conditioning was excellent. Really nice tub with lots of hot water. Friendly front desk staff.

Pictures online do not accurately portray what the property is like. The pool area is in the front parking lot butted up against an interstate. Not exactly relaxing unless you want to see and hear big rigs the entire time you're trying to relax by the pool. Not shown at all in the online pictures. The breakfast was a joke. It was basically cereal and bagels. The rehydrated scrambled eggs were disgusting. Even the fruit was bad. Coffee was terrible. Slowest elevator I've ever experienced in a motel (this is a motel, not a hotel). Got the upgraded kitchenette room that was not a kitchenette. Just a wet bar and a mini fridge. The layout of the room is weird. There is a living room area that has a 2nd TV right next to the bed area that also has a TV. No door on the closet. Sort of an older, run-down property. Only had basic cable.

IIt should be a different variety.Instead of the same.

I liked the location and the staff and it was clean

I pre booked with booking.com and pre paid. They told me they needed credit card to put deposit only. The next morning I noticed 2 charges. The $100 deposit plus $135.42 room charge ( more than booking price). I spoke to manager who said he didn’t know why or how to fix problem but that both charges should drop in 24 hrs. Well the deposit did drop. But I still show charge for room ( yes I was double charged. They did say they saw the booking.com pre paid amount) so I will put stop payment on my credit card. Watch all charges if you stay here. Breakfast very limited in choices and small amounts out for what items they offered. Water pressure in shower terrible , not strong enough to wash hair

The only good thing about the property was the location other than that I was highly disappointed

There were stains in the bathroom and on blankets from what I assume was blood the front desk was cluttered with mess and the smell of just the hotel was awful. I ended up trying to cancel my second night with no answer from anyone within the hotel and stayed somewhere else

A lot of men walking around when we got back late. Not sure homeless or what. The elevator and hall to the room was very warm. Our room was just ok. Needs updating. But our mattress must of been very old or used a lot. We sat on the bed and hear crunch. Springs! All night we roll over the springs would make crunch noise. AC works but it made a crackling noise like wrapping paper. Didn’t sleep.

The room had all of the little conveniences that I really appreciate: Coffee maker, fridge/freezer, hair dryer, microwave and iron. It was comfortable, clean and I felt safe, a must for women traveling.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Smelt like cleaning supplies everywhere.

TV was very outdated and bad quality. The room was clean but very outdated and dressers/drawers were damaged and just didn't look good. also, if we didn't make sure we pulled the room door closed it would stay open. Looked as if someone had tried to break in prior to our stay.

It was fine. I found that I could have paid less for a nicer hotel.

The bathroom looked like a remodel that was rushed and not done well. Bed was not comfortable and some furniture was really old and beat up as if from a garage sale.
