It was “okay”, would look for different place next time

Stayed 5 days and housekeeping didn’t come even once to clean or freshen the room/give towels. Even after asking if they could.

A bit disappointing

Ahh the price and location... because we were traveling through for work on a road trip but yeah, I never do this but my coworker does and I'm glad he did too! We found some mold behind the beds - we moved rooms but we felt uncomfortable the whole night. Luckily it was only one night. room need some deep cleaning!! Hopefully its been taken care of by now but I stayed in Oct 2025

Don't Stay Here

It was close to the highway

Dirty carpets, hallways, etc. The spigot came off the tub when I tried to turn on the water. I contacted their customer service dept. I never heard back from them.

The room was spacious and very comfortable and the staff made my stay enjoyable.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms are spacious. It had all the amenities that you would expect in a good hotel. Also, the breakfast was great, simple, but had everything, cereal, coffee, waffles, eggs, bread, yogurt, juices, fruit.

Nice place to stay during our 4H State Fair weekend!

The lady who checked us in was extremely warm and inviting. She was genuine and engaged with customers in such a welcoming way. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our window did not close all the way, but the air conditioner worked great regardless. The towels were a little scratchy, but still nice. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We felt safe and taken care of. The beds were nice. Most times we walked past the gym people were using it. We did not visit the pool as our visit did not provide adequate time. There were multiple places available to eat in the surrounding area.

The towels could use some laundry softener for sure, and ensure you have at least four towels, and wash clothes in each bathroom. The hallways were somewhat dark and could use better lighting. The rooms themselves could use some additional lighting as well.

1. Kids running the hallways and yelling in room at 3:30 in the AM 2. The bathroom was dirty with hair all over the floor. 3. For 2 days there was no hot water. 4. When I was checking out, I spoke to a lady at the front desk about the problems. She advised that she couldn't do anything about it, but she would put some points on my hotel card.

That room was a BIG Yuck! I can't believe that was a Country Inn & Suites. That definitely changed my way of thinking about your hotel. The mattress was sooo uncomfortable. I checked the mattress for bugs and saw the mattress was soo old and torn inside of the mattress. It had an old a mattress cover with elastic on it! I have NEVER seen that type of cheap cover on ANY place we have Ever stayed! I was Sooo UNHAPPY with that super expensive room and WILL NEVER stay at any of your hotels again. Did not eat any of the free breakfast...we decided to go to Bob Evans down the street...was very happy to leave.

Breakfast was good. I liked the waffles. I wish they had a coffee machine that offered flavored coffee. The front desk staff, especially Mary, were great.The location was fantastic for the other events we were attending.

The room smelled very musty. The rugs need to be either thoroughly cleaned or replaced. Better signage to get to the entrance would be helpful as it is tucked away down a side street.

The hotel is L- shaped and the vending/ice machine is two long halls away. The phone in the room was not working. The toilet was loose and rocking forward and backward. The sink had no drain stopper. The room felt damp. The tub had mold around the wall joints.

Awesome shower after a long day in the heat!

The staff were extremely friendly to me. The breakfast was better than expected. The water pressure in the shower was excellent.

Personal preference, I sleep in a waterbed, so the beds there just were not comfortable for me.

This place is clean and has been renovated-- the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast is your typical budget hotel fare. Nothing special, but for the price we paid it was expected .

The location isn't awesome. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, the streets are all torn up around it, and there's not much in the way of restaurants or shops in the vicinity. Also this place looks really good from the outside and the rooms, while clearly having been given a makeover, still felt a bit shabby. The paint job and finishes were more for show and not done right, the comforters were lumpy, etc. For $80 a night, it's perfectly fine as a place to sleep. Clean and safe but not a hotel I'd enjoy hanging out in the room. Just something to keep in mind.

Good stay; reasonable price; friendly staff.

Excellent breakfast! Good selection of hot and cold foods. Well stocked and clean. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the hotel was, even with our room being one of the first on the hall after the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the breakfast area to the cleaning crew.

Sadly, both the pool and the elevator were not working. The night staff kindly upgraded us to a king room on the first floor so that we didn't have to carry our luggage and other items up the stairs.

Nestled between trailer park and firework shop

Check in was easy and simple, the room was spacious, breakfast is included

I booked because there was breakfast, a pool, and a fitness center. The pool was closed, the 1st floor seems to have a plumbing problem because it smells like a sewer spill, the fitness center has only 4 machines, only 3 work, 2 treadmills and a bike. Lights flickering in hallway and the area seems to be pretty dangerous, heavy police activity all over this side of town. The room was spacious, a lot of bare wall, not a lot of furniture, bed sunk in and worn, looked for bedbugs and seems clean, so that was a plus!

Very friendly staff and a lovely little hotel

Staff were very friendly and gave loads of great advice and places to visit. We were happy to chat with them each day. The location was good, far enough from the center that it wasn't ever busy around, but still close enough to get around easily. The rooms were very good and the freeways nearby couldn't be heard in the room which was a good plus.

I like how friendly and understanding the staff were.

I didn't like that I had to change rooms after being there for only 20 minutes due to bugs being in the room. Once I changed rooms, I didn't like the uncleanliness of the 2nd room (microwave, lamp, etc). It seems as though they do not dust or clean everything in the room.

The elevator was out of order, the vending machine wouldn’t accept cash (and no card option), the remote in the room was gross and had gunk on it, there was insufficient lighting in the room, I did not feel comfortable taking a shower because the shower/tub was disgusting.

Our Go To for Gen Con

We have made this our regular spot for Gen Con. They do a much better job than comparable hotels at handling the elevated demand that event brings. Decent breakfast, clean and comfortable, nice staff.

Only things we didn't love was that the elevator was out of order, But i am sure they are fixing this as fast as able. And it was particularly humid days this time around and the room couldn't handle it. Couple days in a row we came back to damp bedding and clothes, so maybe bring a portable dehumidifier if able when coming during high humidity.

The location was good, just a short drive from downtown, the zoo and park. Mary on reception extremely helpful and told us of lots to do and places to visit, so thank you.

The rooms were a little dated and overall needed a bit of work. Had to ask for our room to be made up as not done otherwise.

Helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable room

The staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly during our stay and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was good for our needs and the location was outside the main city but it was just a 15 minute shot down the road. We will certainly stay here again.

The fitness center isn't great, as the cable machine is a bit old and hard to use. And it's not even a big thing, but the fire pit area outside is underneath the bright lights of the front entrance (as it's off to the left of the main entrance), so it's really bright and not a very relaxing place to hang out casually at night. Honestly, aside from that, everything was grand.

The room seemed extremely outdated and kind of creepy. Could hear every sound in the hallway and we were right by the door going downstairs. Everything just seemed very cheap.
