A Flawless Stay with a Deeply Personal Piece of History! Our stay at the Guesthouse at the Norwalk Inn was absolutely phenomenal. The property itself is stunning—a beautifully restored Second Empire Victorian masterpiece that balances historic charm with crisp, modern luxury. The rooms are spotless, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the staff provides top-tier hospitality. But what made this stay truly unforgettable for me was discovering the deep roots of the building. This structure is originally the historic Grumman-St. John House, with parts dating all the way back to 1750. My maternal grandfather proudly worked for Grumman Aircraft in Bethpage L.I. during and after World War II, helping build the legendary planes that shaped American history. Learning that this beautiful inn was built by his direct ancestors, the early Grumman settlers of Connecticut, made our stay deeply meaningful and filled with family pride. If you are looking for a luxury getaway that seamlessly pairs rich, authentic American history with impeccable modern amenities, look no further. We cannot wait to return!

The noise from the cars passing by was the only caveat.

The saltwater pool was amazing, we were able to relax and have food delivered right to us while we were by the pool. There was plenty of parking available. The hotel is very close to the town green and some beautiful walking trails. The hotel staff were all amazing very friendly and attentive.

I love everything about The Norwalk Inn. I stay there often and it’s almost like coming home. The property is always kept immaculately clean. There’s plenty of parking and it’s in a beautiful residential area.

The staff was very nice and the lcoation was great for our trip.

The elavator broke and was broken the last 3 days of my 4 day stay.
