Inn at East Beach

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience at this hotel. I booked a room through Agoda for $225 per night, which is not cheap. However, the room I received faced the parking lot, offering no privacy at all. When I checked in at 4:00 PM, I was asked to pay a $50 deposit and sign several documents. I questioned the charge since I had already paid in full. The staff member told me it was “just a deposit” and that the paperwork was standard. As I was traveling with my child and didn’t have time to carefully review everything, I trusted his explanation and signed. At checkout, I was shocked to be told that I had missed the 11:00 AM checkout time and that they would keep the $50 deposit as a charge. They claimed they tried to contact me but didn’t have my phone number. They said they contacted the booking agent instead, but I never received any call or email. It’s unacceptable to have guests sign documents and pay a deposit without properly collecting or confirming contact information. To make matters worse, when I went back to the room to retrieve my belongings, I was told they had already removed everything and left it in the lobby. They even mentioned they filmed the process. Overall, I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled. The communication was poor, and the experience felt unfair and unprofessional. I would not recommend staying here.

The only thing is different from what the hotel says is the parking, it charges 15 dollars but you can park outside by the street and there are plentiful

Pros: Walking distance to beach Pool Cons: *Place looks run down *Needs new paint job *We had hair in our sink, shower and bed. *Stains on sheets *The free breakfast was coffee and a wrapped danish *Walls were thin (Doesn't let me add photos)
