We like everything

Absolutely everything about this property was outstanding. From the owners of the property who were so kind and so helpful. To how clean it was, how amazingly cute it was with the decor. I would stay here again and again and wish we stayed more nights absolutely love this place.

There was nothing that I disliked about this place. I highly recommend it. It is 100% a hidden gem.

Philipine & Joël were the best hosts we've ever had for any stay anywhere. We used all of their advice, which made our visit to Kaslo the best of any on our trip. For example, we hiked from our chalet on the easy harbor-side path they suggested (past boat houses that made us feel we were in Scandinavia) to Kaslo's Hotel's restaurant where we shared Jagerschnitzel (one dinner came with 2 giant main course schnitzels & double-sized sides). Knowing we had to sleep far apart (due to my noisy CPAP that would keep my wife awake), they had already set up the comfy couch bed for us, My CPAP's noise stayed up in the loft & my wife slept great. Though they have AC & fans, sleeping temps were perfect for us with open windows. They planted all of the lovely flowers & trees except the biggest trees, & sitting on the deck each night, enjoying the view with a drink, was fantastic. Philipine also introduced us to our British neighbors, & we had a few fun short chats with them!

We hated having to leave. We were sad that we were unable to take Philipine's advice to try the golf course or at least their restaurant (they were closed for their own tourney on our 2nd night we could've gone), so I wish we had planned our one-week trip to stay there a 3rd night at their chalet. We did follow Philipine's advice to try the Mex restaurant which she very accurately described as quite delicious but with smaller portions (for the cost), but we had no way to keep or use leftovers with our planned exit the next day (sadly) so it was still the perfect choice.
