Still recovering from the nightmare we had at Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort.
Here’s a quick summary:
• Only one elevator working—took ages to reach our room.
• Room reeked of harsh chemical fumes—felt more like a lab than a hotel.
• Promised a room change, but came back late night to find it was given to someone else. We were left standing in the hallway at midnight with two sleepy kids and no room.
• Finally got the new room at 1 AM.
• Next night? Cockroaches in the room, in the shower, and in our beds.
• We checked out immediately and spent half a day trying to find a clean, safe hotel and get a partial refund.
• No apology. Just a “we waived your resort fee” as if that makes up for it.
Absolutely unacceptable from a brand like Sheraton. Health and safety standards were clearly violated.
