    The location is perfect in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. The hotel is clean with all the amenities you need in the room. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed and big tv. The icing on the cake is the staff. Katrina at the front desk was extremely helpful and very informative and friendly. She even gave us a gift for our anniversary. The other front desk staff ard security were fantastic as well. The Wood and Paddle's food was delicious with an equally exceptional staff as well. We were not planning to but we ate there twice. Parking is right on location even though it's a different vendor. The staff made our anniversary memorable and beautiful. We highly, highly recommend The Royal Sonesta Minneapolis. You will not be disappointed.

    I enjoyed my stay at the Royal Sonesta as a solo traveler for pleasure. The food at the restaurant downstairs was very, very good, and I found my room to be quiet, clean, and very comfortable. I only wish I had had a view of the city -- interior rooms face the inside of the hotel with no natural light and little added ambiance. If I had a do-over I would just ask for a city-facing room. Overall a great stay.

    $139 parking for 4 nights. I only used my vehicle 1 day but I was charged all nights as in-n-out. 4 seperate times I asked for an explanation of parking fees during my stay and each time I was given different prices and explanations. And all of it was different than the fees they show when you enter the lot. My friend stayed here too and got different info and prices the 2 times he tried getting info out of them. They told me in-n-out all day parking would be cheaper on Sat and Sunday. They told me in-n-out with them is $25, they once said $29, $15, one of them just straight up said they don't know and said don't worry about it, it will be correct in the end. They told my friend you only get charged if you leave, they didn't tell him they charged per night as well. If you stay here, request them to write down exactly the cost of what they will charge you at the end of your stay and then have them sign their initials. Maybe even ask manager to sign it as well.
