Loved the room and the property.
Resort couldn't handle the quantity of people. Unless you had a reservation, could take an hour or more at restaurants at property. Took more than 40 minutes to have luggage brought up to room and that was only when I went down and tried to bring up the luggage myself because we were tired of waiting. Heart was terrific at the Ulu Kitchen in helping us make reservations for our stay.

I really appreciated the view of the ocean. The location of the hotel was wonderful! And I loved the open air lobby with the coy fish, pink flamingos, waterfall and the birds. The cleaning lady was fabulous. Took care of details in the room and always smiling as I would walk down the hall and see her cleaning other rooms. And she was well put together. She is an EXCELLENT worker!!!
I liked that I was placed on the side facing Whalers Village but would have preferred a room higher up so that I wasn't awakened by the delivery trucks each morning and hearing the music later at night from 'Whaler's Village'. However, I did not like that I was placed on the 3rd floor where I could here the delivery trucks every morning and music at night from Whaler's Village. I had asked for a room with a higher floor but there weren't any available. This was after I had called prior to my stay and was told that I would have a room on the 11th floor. When I arrived I was very hungry and tired so I went to the bar to order carry out. The woman who was by the cashier told me where to stand and that the bar tender would take my order. He saw me and didn't ask if he could help me but continued to talk with the others at the bar and serve them drinks. He caught my eye several times. VERY RUDE!!! And then another male worker saw me standing there and I think realized what was going on and came over asked if I had been helped by the bar tender. I said no. And then he said 'I've been ignoring her.' I said, 'Yeah he's been ignoring me.' So my order was then taken. But gosh talk about feeling inconspicuous. I guess a single woman traveling solo who isn't going to order drinks isn't on this bar tender's agenda. It really made me feel bad. I do hope that this bar tender is spoken too and is better at serving all guests whether they are drinkers or not and whether they are with someone or not.
