The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali

We love the water slide and the food, service was excellent, great bartenders and servers. Awesome welcome with shell necklace and the front desk lady was awesome.

Prices were already too high and when we tried to extend our stay they literally doubled and could not accomodate us. We were forced to leave but it felt like extortion. The valet guy was smug and rude. So the first lerson you see who greets you at the door gave a horrible first impression. Also the room should have been better. I geel luke they gave us a low priority room or the rooms are very basic.

We loved the pools and how close it was to the beach! The staff members were always so kind. Especially our housekeeping lady, Evelyn. She made our stay very enjoyable because she always made sure we got what we needed in our rooms.

Food offered was yummy and healthy. Many options and service was great!!! The fish feeding and pictures with birds for the kids was a highlight. Lobby area just beautiful. Loved the Hawaiian dancers that came! Gym smelled clean and was clean! Best location ever!!easy to find restrooms outside of room area. Pools and slides amazing! Pool area very clean.

More seating and shade around pool area would be nice. Two members of my family got shoes taken at pool area- on 2 different occasions! Not till after we went to speak with front desk and security after second set of shoes were missing on another day did we get them back. Shoes were not left, they were taken while swimming. Another “shower” to rinse feet near beach would be helpful as it was the only one and it’s a small area for a line to wait to use it

pool area and bars were great, nice cocktails on the menu close to whalers village and restaurants easy access and close proximity to the beach. beds were comfortable

a buffet restaurant to have breakfast. The shuttle service was not available, it was one of the reason i chose this resort, reception informed me due to the fires previously in Lahania it was not available. no bathrobes or slippers were provided in the room. bathroom amenities were minimal,mouthwash and body lotion were provided. i had to ask for a shower cap. coffee ,tea facilities are difficult to use, a kettle would have been easier. pillows were very soft and uncomfortable. kids club was closed
