The Westin Minneapolis - NEWLY RENOVATED

The staff is super friendly and were able to hold our bags until check in, since we took a bus from Wisconsin! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a place downtown. You can purchase the 4 dollar all day metro pass and get anywhere you want to go!

There was a large family on our floor who booked separate rooms for their kids, and their kids were slamming doors, yelling, and running through the hallways. We were trying to sleep around 5pm since we had been up since 3 am to get to Minneapolis, that was the only disappointing part of our stay since we booked the hotel to get ready for our event and nap before hand.

I didn't get my deposit back! So I was double charged. I paid through Booking.com and had to pay a deposit when I got to the hotel. Never got returned.

Convenient location. The best hotel beds! I loved the bar. Everything was great!

Nothing

Checking in was a long process. There was a long line and one gentleman was checking everyone in while the female check in assistant at the other desk was busy cleaning her desk with antiseptic wipes and staring at her computer. When someone asked if she was able to check people in, she said "Only if you have a 2 bed room". She did not volunteer this info untill someone asked. That's weird. At night we were going into the restaurant to see if it was still open. Someone laying back in a chair by the front desk with what looked like a hotel employee uniform on yelled across the lobby that the restaurant was closed, Unprofessional. When checking out the woman at the desk would not even look up from her computer as I handed her the keys to our room. The only person I had a decent customer service experience with was the valet. He was kind and courteous. Do better.
