The Suites at Fisherman's Wharf

The location is absolutely top-notch! It’s right next to the piers and the waterfront. We walked almost everywhere downtown or rented e-bikes. The apartment was very comfortable, and the beds were amazing—even the sofa bed in the living area turned into a luxurious, highly comfortable double bed. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of appliances and utensils. We also really appreciated the daily housekeeping: they cleaned, took out the trash, and changed the towels every day. It was incredibly quiet at night. Our windows faced the courtyard, so while we didn't have a view from the room, the absolute silence was totally worth it. For a stunning view of Alcatraz and San Francisco, you just need to go up to the rooftop deck—it's gorgeous! Finally, we rented a car for two days and had no problem parking in the hotel's garage; it's not huge, but there were spaces available.

The only minor downside was the lack of an electric kettle in the kitchen. To make tea, we had to boil water in a pot on the stove.
