    My family and I stayed for 3 nights at the Best Western Sunset Plaza. We had an absolute amazing time. The room was fantastic, a great size, clean and well equipped. The staff went above and beyond to help you and were very friendly. The location is brilliant, walking distance to many famous restaurants and clubs, as well as shops. A great part of Los Angeles to stay, close by to many attractions. We will definitely be back.

    I liked the location, cleanliness & size of the room. My sleep here was however, deeply disturbed. I could hear housekeeping slamming doors nonstop early in the morning & I could hear loud footsteps above me. If I forgot to put the do not disturb sign on the door, housekeeping would wake me up early in the morning too by knocking on my door. Staying at this hotel did not feel like a vacation & tired me out more than anything.

    I recently stayed at Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza Hotel for three nights. The location is convenient, with bus stops right outside the hotel providing access to Hollywood, although in practice I found Uber to be a more reliable and efficient way to get around to most attractions. The staff were friendly and responsive, which I appreciated. However, there were issues with some essential in-room facilities upon check-in — both the TV and the phone were not working. While the hotel did offer a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, I chose to remain in my original room as it was noticeably quieter, which I value more than additional space. During my stay, the TV was repaired the following day, but unfortunately the phone remained out of service for the entire duration. While the service recovery effort was appreciated, I would expect these basic amenities to be fully functional from the outset. One concern worth noting relates to hygiene during breakfast service. On one occasion, staff were handling and tossing garbage bags in the immediate vicinity of the breakfast area while guests were eating. This felt inappropriate and detracted from the overall dining experience. Overall, a decent stay with helpful staff, but some improvements in room maintenance and operational practices would enhance the experience.
