Pelican Point is a complete family Hotel. It is not Luxury but the small atmosphere, location, family friendly pool, and the people we met made this part of our vacation a blast. I would definitely stay there again.
That our lock was messed up on our door and we kept getting locked out. They did keep trying to fix it but it needs to be replaced.

The location and the laid back staff was great. We usually stay in Clearwater Beach at some of the “chain” brands. We had a larger room and paid way less! Great value at this hotel and it has been newly renovated.
The main window had a perfectly good blind but it also needed a curtain for nighttime. The light outside of the room lit our room up all night long with no option to pull a curtain shut. Zero other complaints and all the good outweighed the no curtain situation 100-1.

Close to the beach
Our room was tucked back in a dark corner and it was noisy at night right next to a restaurant and parking garage. Our bathroom door wouldn’t stay open on its own and it was HOT in there. Housekeeping wasn’t making our bed everyday. Suggest upgrading to a room with pool view so you get chairs outside your door.
