Shining Waters - Ingleside Cottages

It was close to everything, comfy beds, great customer service

Pillows were flat but we doubled up

This was our fourth year staying at this location, and although we had a different cottage this time the experience was still fantastic. The location is perfect within Cavendish, and the pool is very nice (although it could be a bit warmer). The new staff are wonderful. The woman at the front desk was so very helpful and cheerful, and made you feel truly welcomed. The air conditioning in the cottage was also very nice and made our stay much more comfortable. We will be staying again next year!

Unfortunately the shower left much to be desired. The water temperature was very unsteady and would frequently become very hot during. The water pressure was also very low.

The beds were very comfortable, and the comforters were so cozy that we actually wanted to ask what brand they were so we could buy the same ones! The bath towels were also very soft. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, and the location was perfect — we were very close to all the places we planned to visit. The playground was also a huge hit with our toddler.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay. The shower could use some improvement — the spray was a bit inconsistent, and it was sometimes difficult to get the temperature just right. We also noticed a few small bugs getting into the bathroom, but nothing that significantly affected our stay.
