Wasaga Riverdocks Hotel Suites

The place was clean, nice and staff was friendly. There's a private area in the back by the river.

The price was a bit high for us but worth it for what you get. This was during peak season so it's to be expected.

The staff was exceptional. Cha was extremely responsive and helpful. Set us up to use the Laundry and provided towels and anything else we needed. The property is beautifully maintained. Muskoka chairs, table and chairs and sofas by the water made for enjoyable morning coffee views and outdoor evening meals. BBQ facilities were clean and well equipped. Lawn was beautifully maintained. Also location was excellent - on the river and right across the road from the beach.

Apartment was extremely clean but the one we had was lacking in good pans for cooking or tea towels for drying. Also we were not aware that studio units are on the ground floor with no balcony but outdoor facilities made up for that.

This was my second time here. I love it! Cha the manager on duty was such a lovely person. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. While she was off property she gave me her cell # and very quickly responded to any questions I had. You get the river front, and just cross the rd and you are on a beautiful beach. This is my wasaga go-to.

The room was clean and the management allowed us to check in early which was super nice. beds were comfortable. Kitchen supplies were of good quality.

Well… understand first that we have traveled a lot and have stayed in places from hostels to fancy… and we used to run 5 Airbnbs…although this place was clean it was extremely basic. we paid high end price - more than I have paid at the Hilton or Sandman and there was not even housekeeping. we had to make sure everything was cleaned or they would keep our deposit. not that we wanted to be messy but I did not want to worry about cleaning on an expensive summer vacay. We prefer not to have air conditioning but the screen on the sliding door was broken. I have prescription for medical cannabis but was not allowed to smoke on the balcony so even in down pouring rain I had to walk to the beach behind to medicate. Felt like we were being gouged with such a high price for literally just beds to sleep in. When asked for walking time to main beach area we were told 10 mins but it’s actually 20 - 10 if you are jogging. Water pressure was low and would not rinse out my thick hair. Only enough hot water for maybe 2 showers if you are really quick. I understood when I booked the property that it was booking into a hotel with hotel amenities but it’s more of an Airbnb where you have to do everything yourself- which is great if you know that but kinda sucks when you have already paid and find out on check in.
