Don’t stay here!

Location! Right next to the beach. That’s the only good thing about this place !

Don’t stay here!! The rooms were very small! Even the updated one that we eventually got was just not good enough. We had to go 3 times back/ forth! To get a semi ok room !On 3rd day we were locked out, due to confusion of being in a new room. The front desk didn’t even apologized/ acknowledged their mistake! Poor customer service!Not enough toiletries, we had to ask. Also you need to ask and reserve for room to be cleaned. One staff was trying to help us out/ but, was worried if the changes in our room would cause him to get fired !!the other girl wasn’t really helpful/ poor attitude. Room had min furniture. Not even a chair / fold on to open your suitcase on.I would go to another place! NOT RECOMMENDING this place!

Lovely spot by the beach with plenty of choice for walking, food and entertainment.

Location, size of room, balcony, friendly and helpful staff, ice machine, fridge, water pressure, pool, outdoor shower to rinse sand off feet. With Woody’s right outside the beach access gate we were set for coffees and the best breakfast options.

Minor issues: No safe for peace of mind. No chair in room. Shower a bit small for my bulk but did the job.

Staff was awesome, location couldn't be beat- right on the beach with delicious food options, and surf and bike rentals nearby.

The rooms were smaller than expected, and the shower was tiny and dark. There is no fan in the bathroom, so the only way to get rid of the steam if you shower is to open the window. The stairway was not well lit, and the other rooms on the floor were under construction, so it was noisy during the day. Felt overpriced for the accommodation but location was phenomenal

I paid for the night $355 it was not worthy the quality of that hotel. For this price I really was expecting something better . I feel like ripped off. It is old building , smells like very old and dump , the bed sheets were looking like used .

On the beach with great sunsets. The boardwalk right there so you can walk anywhere grocery store restaurants cafés all nearby.

Our siding door didn’t have a lock and there was no microwave in the room. I would just pick a room that has those next time.

Perfect Location for Beach Lounging

The location was great! It was right on the beach and surrounded by restaurants. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. The pool was nice and clean. We were on a ground-floor level which provided great access to the beach. Housekeeping has to be requested but they worked quickly and were very clean!

The room has some upgrades like the sink/vanity but is still dated. The shower head was very low so I had to bend over while showering to wash my hair. The bed was also weirdly low. On the ground floor rooms, there is a porch light above the back door that stays on all night and is bright enough to see around the curtains.

I wanted an ocean view and I got one. Yes the pool was in the center before the view but we were on the 3rd floor high enough to see the waves. My elderly mother was so pleased!

Love that it's right on the beach. Checking in and out was quick. Ordering extra towels and blankets was easy, and they were super quick with delivering.

Though it was clearly cleaned by room service, there were stains on headboards. Parking space was compact, and the parking fee was excessive.

The location is great. Someone was smoking weed and the smell drifted into our room which was gross, but I’m not sure what can be done about that.

It’s all you need for a stay at pacific beach

It’s a hotel. It’s not a resort. It’s a place to shower, sleep and center for your movement around the area. Your at pacific beach. You’re there to enjoy the beach and the area. You’re not here to sit on your ass, get facials, spa treatments. The staff is very nice and polite everything was clean and ready to go. It’s all you need. Go enjoy the area.

Pacific Beach waterfront classic hotel!

This is our years long tradition place we keep coming back to- it has the best location right on Pacific beach. It’s great to start the day with a coffee from Woodies right outside the hotel gate and walk forever on the beach! The staff is wonderful! We have known Mercedes for years and she always has a smile and kind reception! The junior suites are spacious with a bar area with sink, microwave and fridge. The beds are so comfortable and you can hear the waves at night. It’s a great vacation there!
