Best thing about it is location. I did save a lot of time and energy being near Grand Central. Go in and out of the 7 train at 3rd for a short walk. And the price was definitely not painful. Some of the staff were very helpful, some were not. Food selection was good, if pricey. Size of the room was solid.
Decor was straight out of the 80s. Note there was no smart TV capabilities, and poor channel selection. I wouldn’t care in a normal length stay. I concur with other reviews that it is incredibly noisy, even in the middle of the night because of its proximity to hospitals and the tunnel. I was lucky enough to be used to city noise. Housekeeping once a week was very kind, but she twice forgot to leave me washcloths in the 5 weeks I was there, once even after I asked. I was called twice by the front desk before 8am unnecessarily. There should not be an assumption we all have 9-5 schedules. Mine is later. The shower pressure was extremely strong, almost painfully so.

Great location, near Grand Central train station (6-7 min by foot) and subway station. Room's windows get to the street, but it was still quiet. All necessary amenities were provided. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very nice and helpful personnel.
Cleaning service should be improved. Some furniture requires modernization, f.i. kitchen, where there were only very basic equipment and tools. Very bad smell on the corridors (also because of the neighbour's cooking)

The location and the subway is nearby.
The carpets needs to be changed, stained and dirty.Also the cooking pots needs to be changed.I bought a new frying pan ,used it during my stay and left it there.
