We loved our stay at the Warwick! It was in the most perfect location for us. So close to 5th Avenue, Rockerfeller, Central Park and only 10 mins walk to Times Square. It felt very safe too. The staff were friendly and helpful and the lady made up our room so nicely each day. We were on the 19th floor with a city view. Our room was so much bigger than I was expecting for NY. Extremely spacious for a family of 4. We didn’t find the elevators a problem at all. We will most definitely be back!

The hotel with its marble and grand history lends a bit of glamour to a stay. Rooms are more spacious than typical in Manhattan. We appreciate that they have rooms with two queen beds. Housekeeper was kind and professional.

The mattress was lumpy, neither comfortable nor supportive. There was a horrible smell in the bathroom, probably either from the shower curtain or the pipes. I asked whether another room might be better but was told nothing was available and to ask again later. Since I didn’t think they could help us and I didn’t feel like waiting in line again to get the same unpleasant attitude, I gave up. They had both our room and contact info and could have reached out if they wanted to offer a solution. A supervisor from housekeeping did stop by to follow up but of course she couldn’t do anything about the bed and the smell was a bit better for a while after the room had been cleaned, but it came back within about an hour. After four nights with a lumpy mattress and a stinky bathroom, they then charged us $2 per bag/purse that we wanted to check for a few hours. I have never been charged for holding bags at a hotel (in NY, around the US, at any hotel around the world) before. The hotel is a bit rundown and my personal rec would be to start investing in some quality mattresses and whatever sanitation measures are necessary to get fresh smelling bathrooms.
