I liked the flexibility of the lady in charge that day. Although I came early before three, the room was ready, and she allowed me in . I also appreciated the fact that they had already provided two bottles of water in the room. I liked the welcoming smile from the two guys at the gate who opened the door to me and were really friendly.

The place was very lovely. Very conveniently located. Fantastic staff. Wonderful restaurant on site. Very clean and nice stately rooms. The one drawback was that the AC was not very efficient and the rooms were uncomfortably warm.

Very hot in the room. No fan. AC did not work well. Do not recommend for a summer visit.

Location was great and the facility itself is good. Rooms are nice and big.

There is no additional amenities provided, they just give you 2 bottles of water as a welcome gift the staff said and no more later even if you ask to buy from them.

The hotel is attractive and conveniently located. Our courtyard-facing room felt warm and welcoming, and the wisteria vine outside the window created a charming, home-away-from-home atmosphere. The linens and towels were lovely, the bathroom was very clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The blackout curtains provided complete darkness and helped us sleep well. The décor gave the double room plenty of character.

The hotel messaged us before arrival stating that it had “valet parking only” and quoted the daily price, but did not disclose that approximately 20 spaces serve 114 rooms, that parking is first come, first served, cannot be reserved and is not guaranteed. We arrived at 9:44 p.m. after a long drive and were simply told that parking was full. We then spent approximately an hour checking seven nearby parking facilities before finding a space. When I returned to explain my disappointment, the manager repeatedly smiled and said he did not know what to say or how to make it right. We received no practical assistance or remedy. The bed was described as a queen but felt unusually narrow, closer to a full-size bed. The light switches were positioned surprisingly low and were difficult to locate. Noise from the elevator and air-conditioning was noticeable, so I recommend requesting a room away from the elevator. The room’s alarm clock also went off unexpectedly at 4 a.m., apparently left programmed by a previous guest and not reset by housekeeping. After the parking experience and the dismissive front-desk response, we no longer felt comfortable having breakfast at the property. The room itself has real charm, but beautiful décor and renovations cannot compensate for inadequate disclosure and poor problem resolution. I would not recommend this hotel to guests arriving by car unless they reserve alternative parking in advance.
