Sapience Retreat & Apothecary

The hosts pay great detail to make this an excellent B&B. The breakfast was delicious and was different each morning. The house is beautifully decorated with interesting antiques. And the bedroom and bathroom were a good size, with a cozy common sitting area. Location is very central to wineries in the area and a short drive to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake.

David and Jason were excellent hosts, and the accommodations far exceeded expectations. The house was cozy, clean, and well-appointed, and the entire stay was very comfortable. David prepared and presented an excellent breakfast that was far beyond what we anticipated. Additionally, he was very helpful in directing us how to get into town, things to do and see, and general tips to make our trip perfect. We didn't take full advantage of the house's many lounge and sitting areas, but they were just as great as our room. It felt like we were staying in a luxury five star spa, but with all the personalization and warmth of staying with a friend. My partner and I got some helpful local tips, enjoyed a luxurious and cozy getaway, and even got to meet the owners' adorable dogs! David also helped me arrange additional accommodations for Valentine's Day at my request, which was seriously appreciated and helpful. Seriously, book this getaway. It was such a nice place to stay! 10/10 :)

Quiet, short distance to town & sites. The food was amazing. All the staff were extremely helpful.
