The architecture in this hotel is beautiful and unique. The rooms have a nice vintage feel. Our double bed room came right out to the pool. Kids had a blast using the arcade and swimming!

The hotel is outdated and could use a refresh, but my room was clean and the bed was comfortable which was all I needed to attend a conference.

Overall, I had a great time with my seven year-old as a Christmas staycation for just us. He honestly thought it was fantastic, and while I would never admit it to him, to me, it appeared kind of rundown. There were cracks in the sink that were filled in with some type of pink caulking, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling off, and there was a 2” hole in the ceiling -likely from water damage to the roof. They had pretty decent cable TV and free WiFi, but no way to log into your Netflix or Disney apps on the tv (not that that is a dealbreaker by any means). Two (of the 8ish) video games in the arcade were not working, the hot tub/Jacuzzi was no longer present (we had seen photos that had showed it, however, another guest confirmed to us that it had been closed a year+ ago & unfortunately it was the attraction we both had been most excited for), and there were no towels in the pool area by the time we got there at about 5pm (so definitely bring your own). I didn’t see an open restaurant, so we DoorDashed in dinner (which came right to our room!) and we grabbed Dunkin 1/2 mile down the road for breakfast the next morning. We still had a great time and the employees there were pleasant. Considering that we paid less than $***for a night, it was a decent place for a quick getaway. The pool/outdoor/indoor atmosphere is really cool, and if they spent some time and money on the accommodations and lodging areas, it could bring it from a 5-star to a 10-star location easily. Not sure we will come back, but had a nice time nonetheless.
