Good deal for Newport Beach area

It looked like they had approved the design and decoration of the facility. The staff is very friendly at the front desk. The room is clean. The TV was great cause it had a lot of choices. I like that it felt safe to park my car in their lot.

The dark out curtains didn’t close completely, and I didn’t have good rest.

Our choice of lodging in Costa Mesa.

This has become our favorite place to stay when we visit our son and daughter in Costa Mesa. It is clean, comfortable, and has breakfast. We just use it as a place to sleep and do not use any of the other amenities. We have visited this location twice and will definitely return.

Loved the Jacuzzi and the heated pool, the coffee maker downstairs with all the choices, the spacious room, the comfortable bed and pillows, the coffee maker and refrigerator in the room, the chandeliers, the staff was very nice and accommodating, the cleanliness, the space on the second floor where the couches are to relax and watch TV.

I always book a hotel that includes breakfast. We were was really looking forward to trying it out. My sister and I couldn’t fall asleep. We both have trouble with that so we set our alarm for 8:30 to get there by 9 AM but unfortunately we were still too tired so we missed it. I know you stay open till 930 on the weekends so my only complaint is that I wish it stayed open till 930 on the weekdays as well.

Enjoyable stay will return here

The room was very large and comfortable with a great handicapped accessible bathroom love the shower. We enjoyed the free breakfast every morning, the pool, and the jacuzzi. Friendly helpful staff, Norm was our favorite. Norm always greeted us with a big smile and genuine intrest in hearing about our day. He suggested some great local places for us to check out.

Checked in at 8:30 PM. The desk clerk seemed like he really didn't want to be there. No smile. Cold and not friendly.

We felt it was a nice hotel and would stay again but bring pillows from home

Location was perfect for us and the pool was wonderful. Liked the free parking and the breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I didn’t like the pillows and the room was a little noisy as guests were coming in around 10p - it settled down and was quiet overnight after about 11p

The hotel was a short distance from all of the areas we visited.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and assured us that our room will be available even though we arrived for check in after 2:30 am. The room was clean and well stocked. The room looked like it had recently been updated. I appreciate that there was a drinking water dispenser in the lobby. It was so convenient because we always bring plenty of personal water bottles on our trips. Plenty of FREE parking spaces was a PLUS.

The free breakfast was good, but it would have be great if the eggs were cooked other than scrambled. I just can't figure it out, but why does the water in hotels we have stayed at, weather in Monterey California or in Oahu Hawaii have a smell. I'm not sure if it's sulfur, musty or some kind of organic material.

Great friendly efficient staff. Super clean Room extremely comfortable with armchair, coffee, tea, etc. Ice machines. A pool and spa. The pool even had a lift for people in wheelchairs to help them in. Great breakfast for free. A snack bar at reception where you can get treats and supplies.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible service I received during my stay. I didn't catch his name, but the person working the night shift at 1 AM on Monday, the 18th, truly brightened my evening. After such a long drive, his warm and friendly demeanor made me feel so welcome and valued. It's evident he genuinely loves his job and has a deep understanding of what hospitality means. Thank you to that wonderful employee for making a challenging night feel so much better! Your kindness made a lasting impression!

Comfortable, relaxing we will definitely stay here again

Very clean, staff was helpful and attentive. Amenities were great. Not sure about the breakfast because we woke up after 9am every day and breakfast was done.

The bathroom floor would get wet everytime we showered which made the floor messy and slippery. The shower curtain isn't long enough so the water runs out. We had to put towels on the floor to soak up the water. Also, the pool steps are very slippery, I slipped twice while getting in the pool, luckily I was holding on to the rail so I managed to catch myself.

For the amount of money we paid, I could had just stayed at a more upscale hotel.

It was close to the OC fair

No microwave, breakfast was included. However, my husband had an accident and was not able to walk, when I went downstairs to ask if I could get a container to take to the room, I was told we were only allowed to eat in the dining area. This is ridiculous for the amount of money we paid. Not to mention, there was only one elevator. Our room was way up on the 3rd floor all the way to the opposite side. With an injured foot, this is inconvenient.

Surprisingly Pleasant Stay

This location was renovated in October 2024. Very clean, nicely furnished. There is no carpet in the rooms, which eliminates allergies and unseen grime. A free filtered water station is available in the lobby for refilling water bottles. A Lavaza automated coffee machine in lobby can make Americano, Latte, Espresso, Chai Tea etc. I saw the beans inside the machine, so it isn't syrup-flavored coffee. This is complimentary. Housekeeping was excellent and serviced the room daily—great location off I55, close to beach (7 minute drive), close to delicious dining. Staff was very friendly and smiled :-). I did not eat breakfast. I used the minifridge/ microwave in the room for my yogurt, salads, etc that I purchased at the nearby Trader Joe's grocery store.

Free Parking is available outside and also in the garage underneath the hotel. The garage underneath was a little dark. I'm not sure if the security cameras are down there. (The hot tub was small - I don't use public hot tubs anyway)
