Perfectly located. Easy to get on and off the Highway. Rooms were nice. Free breakfast exceeded expectations Would definitely stay here again
Walls are a bit thin. Or the person staying above us was very heavy footed. Maybe the bar could stay open a little longer.

Location
Handicapped parking too far from main entrance.

Elegant property. Spacious room nicely laid out and equipped
Parking was behind the hotel and not conveniently situated.

Breakfast was OK, eggs and coffee, basic stuff, but not bad. not particularly healthy.
I liked the central area for seating that's a nice place, good parking, clean rooms comfy bed, decent shower.
But it's cheap and cheerful enough with some good places to eat nearby, great access to the 241 to get to the freeways.
My room overlooked the outdoor seating and it got noisy at night occasionally. I kept the curtains closed for privacy.
Rooms are a bit dated and the whole place smells strongly of air freshener, which was not too bad in my room but in others it was overpowering. I get the feeling the place needs a refurb.

Nice hotel. Room was really great, even though I didn't realize, when booking, that the doors were outside...
Very happy with the stay, overall. Breakfast(included) was nice. Parking was easy. I would go back in a heartbeat...
Outside doors, but still felt very safe, and secure... Other than that, the hotel is great, the staff were very friendly, and I would recommend Ayres Hotel, to anyone looking for a reasonable, clean, safe stay...

Nothing.

Excellent, caring staff. Big room. I loved the outdoor firepit!
Nothing I didn’t like. The restaurant/bar was O.K., but was overshadowed by fantastic restaurants nearby.

Good variety on breakfast. Landscaping was pretty
Room has missing carpet patches and the insulation in the walls and between floors was poor. You could hear full conversations from people in the halls, next door and above.

Nice hotel and room was clean and comfortable.
Complimentary breakfast was low quality.

My children weren’t with me to enjoy it.

The courtyard with it's spanish fountain and firepit were very nice and relaxing.
The breakfast was disappointing. In the past there was a fresh omelette station, this time we were only offered a buffet with cold eggs and sausage.
The jacuzzi water was murky and uninviting.
Our two tv's had no signals, a maintenance man came in and fixed them for 10 minutes then the signal went out again. I told the front desk about this and there was a barely an apology and no discount was offered. Ayers Hotels are usually exceptional I was disappointed to see the management slip at this one.

Breakfast was great. The only thing was the potatoes were ready cold but everything was delicious. Endless coffee, drinks, homemade waffles. Yummm
The only thing I didnt like was the TV was placed in the weirdest spot in rhe bedroom and the TV didn't swivel so it was hard to watch

Lovely staff, nice comfortable hotel, lovely courtyard. Beautiful homemade cookies everyday!
Location is good if you drive, if not there are no good stores close by,
Dog friendly which is fine but should be kept on one level, a lot of dogs around!
Breakfast was ok but some mornings items were cold, same items everyday and very small buffet, but was ok.
Bar only serves food late evening so not much options again need a car.

All good.

Location and cleanliness
One of the rooms booked had a sewage odor and we were unable to be moved to another room. Advertised as having a Spa on premises but having to text someone to come in visit was off putting and we chose not to use the spa service. The bar closing at 9pm even on a weekend was an issue

Felt like a well appointed boutique hotel with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Comfortable beds and thoughtful room facilities- iron and ironing board to boot! :)
Needed to use the sleeper-sofa for the 3rd guest, but not only was the sofa-bed so uncomfortable that it made sleeping essentially impossible, the sofa itself was too uncomfortable to sleep on. The only real, but not good option was the floor. Please update the sleeper-sofa so it is comfortable for use. That would be a game-changer. Thank you!

Good spread of breakfast. Spacious, clean rooms and bathroom. Very kind staff.
Room service wasn’t in service.

Location, beds were extreme king-sized, but for a handicap room, the shower/tub combo was a bit hard to enter but the handles helped.
Breakfast needs GREAT improvements! Some smaller hotels provide better display and better selections, including more simple things like cereals.
The cleaning lady neglected to give us wash cloths twice. Front desk quickly supplied them.
Pillows, and I almost always find this issue in other hotels as well, have a residue smell. Perhaps a spray would help in addition to washing them more frequently- just a suggestion.

Room wasn't ready after 3 pm. The room had mechanical maintenance problem. Moved to another room that smelled of sewage. Tried to air out room but stench got worse. Had to be moved yet again at 10 pm to room 190.

Breakfast was good and rooms were nice and clean.
Only thing I didn’t like was furniture has quite a bit of wear and tear, also tv by the beds is very tiny, and TVs were not smart TVs.

Highly recommanded hotel with a nice patio in a beautiful location. Very clean!
We felt so comfortable and safe during our stay.
Despite it’s a great hotel: At breakfast and at the reception some of the staff made a not motivated Impression when working for the guests.

Luxurious short stay. Very clean. The courtyard with fire pit.
The tremendous hassle of having to contact Booking.com as 3rd party and coordinating with the property to book additional night and stay in same room.

Proximity to family events. Courtyard. Breakfast.
Pool closed for “scheduled maintenance “ for two days (and it became three days) the week of the Fourth of July. No notice given upon check in. No notice at the front desk, elevator or in any public spaces. We discover the pool is closed as we all stand in our swimwear and sunscreen at the pool gate on a sweltering 85 degree day. A note taped to the gate shows info of closure due to scheduled maintenance. Sadness and disappointment overwhelmed all as a workman said pool was closed.
With proper and timely information we could have made other arrangements for these three days of our eight day stay but by this time our schedule was locked and tickets bought for other activities on other days. One has to question why management would choose to schedule maintenance on the largest holiday week of the summer?
We requested to talk to the manager several times and received NO call back. Zero response. My husband finally found her by noticing her name tag and shared our disappointment and to ask about lack of notice to guests. She said a mass mailing from hotel booking agents mentioned it (never saw that or it among the endless junk mail from booking agents offering me tours and rental cars..definitely not specific or highlighted info sent to grab attention) and offered us 10% discount for the days affected. Seriously and not seen. Later we notice a sign did go up in the elevator about pool closure and later a sign showed up on the front desk.)
We have stayed here many times and for long stays to visit family and like this hotel very much but now I’m not sure.
We travel often and have stayed in hotels over 50 days so far this year and not much bothers me enough to comment but this could have been managed so much better and it is really the only week of travel that mattered to me. I would have liked a heads up to have had a chance to either stay somewhere else or plan my week with this info in hand. I checked in on Friday and pool closure started Monday.
