Very clean with a great professional and supportive staff.

Staff are great. Carrie and night staff are always so helpful. Facilities and cleaning staff are so receptive and professional. Shout out to Jusn the facilities manager. Both chefs are excellent. Nice hotel!

Need to make more cookies. Batches of 60 as they run out too wick :). Would like to see individual milk cartons in the cafeteria breakfast and not the caraf of milk .

Good location, accommodations, value and breakfast with a comfy bed!

It was an easily accessible location and the breakfast was better than expected for hotel food.

There was nobody at the front desk when I came to check in and I had to wait a bit. I believe the clerk was having a smoke break,because he came from outside. Not a big deal but I was tired and ready to go to bed.

We love staying at this location. It has easy access to the 241 toll road and is centrally located to many shops, parks and restaurants. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast has a variety of options for everyone.

The bed was very comfortable and great, moldable pillows. Loved the room and the setup.

The elevators are at the end of the hallway, rather than the middle, so it was a bit of a walk with the luggage.

Pretty convenient location. All staff was very friendly. Plenty of space for parking, and it was free!

I was at the end of the building and it was pretty far from the main entrance. So I used the stairs at that end, so not a huge deal. Something about the bed was not comfortable. Not sure if it was the bed, pillow or what, but I couldn't sleep well.

Common areas especially lobby area by the elevator was very dirty. Could have used a good mopping. When entry common areas like these are not clean on arrival, it does not give a welcoming feel. This was surprising for an Ayres hotel. I stay at quite a few and this was first with a dirty elevator lobby area. First impressions really matter.

It is such a quiet little spot, yet it is close to shops and restaurants. The pool area view is amazing. Very clean lobby, rooms, parking lot.

Ok hotel, but staff should do more to apply rules of conduct

Room was good size. Pool and jacuzzy

Breakfast is just ok, a bit better than standard hotels. There were large groups of families (baseball teams) which I think the hotel staff should have managed better. They occupied the pool for the whole weekend, breakfast fell short, kids were messing around the gym without adult supervision and were running around the corridors late at night.

Enjoyed our stay at Ayres Mission Viejo and the quick and easy access to the 241 freeway was a plus!

The bathroom area had a separate toilet/tub area. I really like that when traveling. The extra sink was also nice. Free breakfast and parking were much appreciated and were why we picked this hotel.

Small issues, but the bathroom door was really squeaky so in the middle of the night it would wake others. Also in the tub area there was only a light with a fan so that was also noisy in the middle of the night. Would be nice to have a room safe.

I did don't like the fact that I was charged way too much for this hotel by booking.com. I could have saved a lot by booking direct. Even booking.com said that the price was much lower after I booked. I will book direct in the future or use hotels.com The hotel was somewhat dated, but that was OK. The breakfast area was very noisy and chaotic.
