    I was glad to count on a moderate, reliable hotel. What more would I want? Lower price. No damage deposit for a room I prepaid (you've got my information, really). Back door that doesn't get propped open by a cigarette disposal stand. Vacuum cleaner sounds when the staff is doing rooms. WIFI that doesn't cut in and out. Bus stop on your block, not a kilometre away. Footsteps that don't boom echoing down the hall as someone walks along another floor, inspiring fears of earthquakes in a flimsy building on sloping ground.
