The restaurant is very good and the grounds are obviously kept up well.
Our room was a little tired and had a faint musty smell when we entered. I didn’t complain about this, to be fair, but they did tell me they checked the room just before we checked in. The air conditioner sounded like a turbo prop plane, but luckily, it was cool enough that we could sleep with the windows open and hear the wolves.

Convenient to the airport, very friendly staff, bed was very comfortable in the cabin.
For a one night stay booked later in the day with no possibility of enjoying anything more than a meal, it felt very expensive. Unfortunately, it seems that this is the norm in Timmins where all the hotels seem to want to capitalise on the Mining industries success by charging astronomical rates. I live in Kelowna, BC and the price I would expect to pay for staying in a resort, with plenty of activities and wonderful views is a lot less than I pay to stay in a mining town with pretty much nothing going for it other than the industry. Sorry Timmins but you don't compare to Kelowna. Shower in the cabin was very small, anyone over 230 pounds/6' 2" would have an interesting time in there!

Staff was so friendly from the reception desk to the restaurant.
Pools close at 6pm and closed on Mondays … I worked during the day so did not get to enjoy unfortunately.
