No real view. Tree growth is obstructing most of the views. There are some upper units that look like they would have views. It appears management is aware and fill the units with the best views first.

Apartment had all we needed. restaurant in walking distance.

Location is perfect. If you are going whale watching or kayaking from L’Anse Saint Jean, this place is a five minute walk away from the Quay. It is near à casual but very tasty restaurant, à couple of cafes, and the little beach. All in all it’s where the action is, and if you get certain condos you’d have a lovely view of the town. The condo size was good for a family of three to spend a couple of days.

Our suite had recently been somewhat updated, and it was clean. However the place as a whole is pretty shabby and tired. So many things make it feel like they’re putting the least possible effort in. The beds and linens are thin, cheap and uncomfortable. There is so little provided it feels almost petty: no salt, pepper, or sugar in the kitchen, let alone other staples. There was one coffee filter only (and of course no coffee or tea.) We asked if we could have two more filters for our three night stay, and they said they could probably find some, but no dice. Even the three “bowls” provided are the size of small cups, so tiny as to be useless. There’s not even soap in the shower! You kind of suspect they’re relying on the guests buying everything, and then cruising off what is left behind. Don’t book the “spare cot,” they won’t provide it despite an exchange of emails in advance, and they’ll challenge your need for it when you ask for it again upon arrival. When they finally do bring it, it’s a thin, folding, foam mattress on the floor. The staff is pleasant enough on the surface but seemingly utterly uninterested in helping their guests. Ex: After the boss made one attempt to sort our non-functional TV out and it still didn’t work, he said he’d be in to take another look, but never came back. Later I saw him spending the afternoon working on his boat. He didn’t even pretend he was still on the case, and I didn’t bring it up again. What with having to ask for the cot a second time and the coffee filter situation, I felt we were beginning to be “too demanding.” This place could be so much better if they just gave it a good spruce up and seemed to care a bit more. As my French teacher used to say, they are “partisans du moindre effort”, at least in our experience. I guess you kind of have to grin and bear it.
