La Bannik

The private hot tub was amazing. The bed very comfortable. Indoor gaz fire place is very romantic. The bathtub in the main room is just the cherry on top.

Would need more spices for cooking in the full kitchen

Beautiful location with spectacular lake views from the windows, porch and hot tub! Very quiet. Lots of hiking trails. Many amenities closed for season but did not matter for our one night. Hot tub outside, firepit, bbq. Soaker tub inside, well equipped kitchen, separate sitting area. Perfect. Restaurant was closed but had a great view. Fortunately knew this ahead of time so brought food. Microwave, toaster, toaster, oven, bbq and fridge, plus plates, utensils, even a potato masher! Fall colours are the best. Very helpful and friendly bilingual staff made a huge difference!!!

I wish we had of been able to turn the porch light off to sit outside and enjoy the night skies.

The location is just wonderful. So peaceful and quiet. Lovely to be among trees and close to the lovely Lake Temiskaming. The local historic fort is conveniently located and is really nice to see. The staff at La Bannik were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a treat!

There was a strong smell of sewage near the main office. Hopefully that was a temporary problem. The beach by the lake is a bit underwhelming with lots of pebbles. A night light in the bathroom would be helpful.
