A nice place to stop for the night, between two long days of driving. Real keys for the door, no swipe-cards. Everything was clean and comfortable, good A/C and wireless. The motel has a restaurant, but it is closed for renovation (this was noted on the website). Not noted, however, was that the large outdoor pool was also closed for renovation. I had really been looking forward to a swim; this is why I dinged the rating 1 star. The motel complex is a mix of 2-story rows and single cottages (I stayed on the first floor of a 2-story). Check out Bert's Pizza right across the street. The motel is about 200 yards from a US/Canada Border crossing (a small bridge over the St. John River), with a rickety railroad track just in front. At the time of my visit, the street that the hotel is on was being dug up for water or sewer work, and down to one (very bumpy) lane. It is pleasant to walk around the area, down to the railroad crossing, or behind the motel to the baseball field of a nearby school. I would love to visit again when the restaurant and pool are operational. US traveller note: this part of New Brunswick (being close to Québec) is French, though everyone I met (staff and ordinary people) also spoke English. Be polite and say "merci", it is greatly appreciated.
