Top notch staff that went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Unbeatable view from the balcony of the Harbour. We were able to see many seals which was fantastic

The view was fantastic. Bed comfortable. Room was fine, clean. Check in was easier than check out.
Restaurant was under repair. We picked that property because it had a restaurant and pub so that was disappointing to not know ahead of time. Asked for a receipt. Was told "no" because I booked thru booking.com

It's been a while since I've stayed here but thought I would give it another try specifically because I was expecting to have an early morning and the restaurant has a good breakfast. The woman at the desk was super friendly and welcoming. The views are nice - second floor would be much better than lower level. The parking lot is ample. It's a short drive off the highway in a quiet location.
Unfortunately the restaurant was under renovation and closed which was unfortunate as this was the entire reason I chose this property. Also some of the rooms were being reno'd and I ended up being put in a room right beside this noise. I ended up getting called out to work a day early and was not issued a refund for the unused night. I wasn't really expecting one as obviously I was within the cancellation time frame, but it would have taken the edge off the frustration and noise of the renos. I didn't realize they had a gym which I would have appreciated as well - it's only in looking up their cancellation policy that I noted the gym.
