Noah's Ark Campground

The campground was great, the staff were wonderful and the Ark suite I was is was nice and clean, and had all the modern amenities that I needed. I really enjoyed walking the grounds with my dog.

Firstly, the wildfire smoke did not add any enjoyment, but there is nothing we can do about this, and it affects so much more than any holiday seekers. I think the only downside for me was the noise of the highway. The Ark sweet is situated high on top of a boat, and from there I could watch all the cars, and big trucks drive by. I wanted this experience for some peace and quiet to sit on the deck and read a book for a couple days. I could not do that with all the highway noise. It was awful. I wish I would have known about the location of the suite beforehand, and the noise factor. I would have chosen a different experience and a different option.

Despite some confusion created by Booking.com by not communicating the booking details/ request to Noah’s Ark, Shawna was extremely cooperative when called and went out of her way to arrange a suite for us which met and exceeded our expectations. Thank you Shawna without your positive attitude we may have been without accommodations for the night. Thank you Noah’s Ark.

The 1-bedroom suite was spacious and included a kitchen, which was convenient for our stay.

The suite didn’t seem to have been cleaned for days, and we ended up cleaning most of it ourselves. The worst part was the dirty toilet seat. It was also very noisy at night because the suite is so close to the highway with poor soundproofing, making it hard to sleep .
